Never one like her. Scene 1 — The New Boss in Town The moment she hit the small intestine, the locals took notice. Bifidos stopped playing cards. Lactobacilli dropped their enzyme tools. Even the Yeast Syndicate went quiet. She walked right up to me—Detective L. Acidophilus. Private Investigator. Been cleaning up this gut since the Great Chili Disaster of ’09.
