I have been using this brand of magnesium cream and love it so much that I also ordered the oil. I applied it on my knees and feet. A few seconds later I noticed an uncomfortable sting and got nervous that I was allergic to it. I grabbed the bottle and noticed that the instructions were covered by a UPC sticker, and peeled it off. Underneath it mentioned that stinging is a normal reason and that it wears off quickly, and to rinse the extra a few minutes later. The stinging was really short lived and the oil really works well!! Now when I use it- the sting lets me know that it is soaking in and working. I am so happy with all the Natural Elephant products!!! This is such a good price for a natural pain solution!

I was looking forward to being able to write a review on this product. I loved how it was 4oz so I could get it through TSA; I do a lot of traveling. But when I received the product there was oil everywhere. It was missing the cap, there was no packaging so the sprayer loosened and oil was everywhere inside the mailing envelope. Hopefully Amazon and whoever ships this product will learn from this and package the product properly so nobody has to the same experience as I did. I was so looking forward to the spray and not having to rely on taking a bath.

I had the unfortunate...or maybe I should say 'fortunate'... opportunity to use this almost immediately after I received it. I was trying to stretch out my feet and calves, and actually wound up triggering a very painful, and visible, muscle cramp in the back of my calf. When I was able to hobble again, I picked this up from the nightstand and sprayed it on and rubbed it in, and the cramp dissipated within about 5 minutes. I didn't really have any kind of skin unpleasantness, as some folks report, and I left it on without rinsing it off, because I didn't want to risk another cramp. I'm using a little each day, kind of pre-emptively, but also because it's supposed to bypass the digestive tract, where oral magnesium can cause some unpleasantness, even when taking the tummy-friendly forms of magnesium.

I have used gel and lotion in the past. This spray works great and is so easy to use! It covers a wide area with a fine mist and my hands don’t get messy or sticky since it’s a spray. The surface pain was knocked out almost immediately for me and then the deeper pain went away shortly after. I do usually have an issue with a slight stinging when I first apply any magnesium products, I did not have that with this. This is perfect for travel and convenience of use of spray versus getting a lotion or cream all over your hands. Definitely recommend .
