Perfect driftwood. Super pretty, and in great condition. I used them in my fish tank after boiling them and they are perfect. I have one in my beta fish tank for the tannins and the other two in my goldfish tank but I want a smidge more natural look. They stayed upright how I wanted them and the size was exactly what I asked for. I will use this seller again when I upgrade my tanks next year!

Best driftwood purchase so far! the pieces are beautiful too! I did boil them a few times and a soak in cold water over night put them in the tank so far minimal tannins! And love the look, very pleased

Like any natural product, the pieces will vary, and ordering unseen is a gamble. You can get some really nice pieces, you can get some bland ones. My 2 photos show 2 different orders of the 7-11" 3-piece package. I wasn't really happy with the first batch so ordered a second, which I'm very pleased with! The wood is clean and with a good soak will be ready for the tank. I will return the first bundle. I would recommend ordering an extra bundle beyond what you need to ensure good selection, then return the unused package.

I am very pleased with the generous size pieces of driftwood that I received. I am setting up a 20 gallon terrarium and these pieces along with a few pieces of dragon stone will make a very appealing hardscape. The price seemed very fair to me. I have had many aquariums in the past and the driftwood was really expensive.

Boil, Boil, Boil Song; Boil All Day Long
Size: Mopani Driftwood 7 to 11 Inch (Pack of 3)
First, I like this (Mopani) wood. I like the sizes, shapes, burl, texture, and the color. There is one huge thing to be aware of, however, this wood is absolutely *loaded* with tannin. I have boiled three 8” pieces at least six times, two hours or more each on each occasion, and each time I change the water, the liquid’s color is roughly that of prepared tea. If you like black water tanks, this is the perfect choice of wood for you. If you want the wood to not leech tannin at all, you will have to thoroughly boil this wood *many hours or even days,* ideally with periodic water changes. The wood itself will likely lighten in color over the course of the boilings; mine certainly has. I'd also advise against buying a piece too large to boil. Soaking the tannin out in room temperature water would take much longer than boiling, and at some point I want to see this in my aquarium.

Driftwood
Size: Mopani Driftwood 7 to 11 Inch (Pack of 3)
I bought this to help condition the water in my fish tank. I have about 15 guppies in a 30 gallon tank. I had a pleco but unfortunately he died after having it 2 years, I replaced it with 2 albino Cory catfish ( I know I need to get more, I plan on buying 4 more in the future). My tank water levels went up after it died. The ph was up to 8 and nitrite and ammonia went up. Also I have very hard water but use seachum prime for that with every water change. The driftwood brought everything to normal range so that’s why I give it 5 stars. I only boiled each piece for about 30 minutes, then let it soak in clean water for about 3 hours. 2 of the pieces finally sank to the bottom but the largest piece kept floating. I’m currently soaking it now, and plan to put it back in my tank after a few days. The pieces I received were very good quality but not what I was hoping for. I wanted something my fish could hide in but probably after I add the biggest piece I can create a cave like structure with it. I added a photo of my tank. I just added plants to my aquarium about a week before getting driftwood, so that’s what might have helped water quality also. My tank isn’t finished being decorated, that’s why there are empty spots lol. Just wanted to show 2 of the pieces I received. Also my fish love the driftwood!!
