So I often get oily roots and dry ends… but I’ve been trying to switch up my skin and hair regimen with safe products that still work and this stuff is AWESOME! I only wash my hair twice a week and this stuff doesnt leave me having to wash too early, it’s not drying OR too moisturizing. It’s legit perfect for combination hair. The only downside I had was that, idk hoooow but every time I wash my hair, I can practically taste it? Lol I mean it’s not horrible but like idk that’s weird. I do not know if the scent is good or not. However, it does clean my hair well. I like the results compared to other shampoos and conditioners that I have tried. Whether it is the best or not I do not know. I do not know if it is better than professional products. What I do know it is better than products such as Suave. Which works for me. I really don't want to buy those products. Nor do I want to buy the professional products. They cost too much. This is a good compromise. ... show more

I won't buy this again for too personal preference. It smells ok, lathers up just fine if that's what your looking for, but I'm growing out my hair after chemo and I don't like how it makes my curls feel after it's washed. I might try it again after my hair is done growing.

After a recent health change, I was finding that my old shampoo/conditioner was causing my back to break out (I have long hair). I decided to try to find a "clean" product, one that uses less chemicals in hopes of resolving the issue. After two weeks of using the product, I could certainly see the difference in my skin that surrounds my hair (forehead/back/neck). If you're looking for a product that uses less chemicals, this is definitely a great option. I have thick, dry, curly hair. When I blow it out, I try to wait a week to wash it. I have tried so many shampoos and conditioners and they often make my hair too greasy looking or too dry or worse - both. By a week in, it’s bad. I don’t know what it is about this shampoo and conditioner but I can go over a week with my hair still looking fabulous and not at all greasy AND it makes it soft and moisturized. I honestly think it may be the best I’ve ever tried and as a curly girl I have tried a LOT.
