The tree comes packed very tightly. I examed each part and the total assembly seemed very well made and sturdy. Make sure to fluff each branch out after assembly or you may be disappointed. It does take time but is worth it visually. The top lights need to be plugged into the lower lights, so be prepared to find both sockets during assembly. (The picture is 5 min from taking it out to standing and the branches need to be fluffed and tree decorated. Our full-grown Burmese cat in the background can give you an idea of the size.) The electrical cord is long enough to go into a wall plug if right behind the tree, but it may be advised to have an extension cord ready as the cord on the tree isn't very long. When I first got the tree assembled so it could stand and be lit, I posted a picture so you might see it. I have to get an extension, put this on the table with the skirt, and pull down the branches and fluff better so I can decorate. This picture will give you an idea, it took me 5 min to get it put together to this point. I don't think the tree is as full or as real looking as shown in the picture on the advertisement and I miss having larger, real trees with pine smell; however, this is a good size for the two of us. All in all, I would recommend it if you don't want to get a live tree or a really large one. Good value for the price. ... show more

We were so happy with this purchase! Not only did we get a great deal, but the quality seemed like that of a more expensive tree..it’s very full once you spread out the branches and nice and tall! Highly recommend!

Obviously with enough work you can make anything look amazing. However, this tree was SO forgiving and such a joy to work with. For my liking the tree did not have near enough lights. So in this picture I added an additional 420 lights. 3 strands of 100 and another string of 120. I went through and used twist ties to secure the additional, including the existing lights tot he branches. The existing lights were too loosely tied to the tree. In addition I also flocked this tree. A light flocking but I wanted that snow-kissed look. Once I was done with the lights I took the thing out to the porch and sprayed it down in two coats or dustings. It was a rose-gold, silver, crystal and pearl theme and I'm so proud that I made a lot of the decorations myself. Over all I am pleased with the tree. I really took the time to "fluff" this tree and worked with the branches to really make them look excellent. The stand is sturdy and the branches aren't too bad on the skin. I am happy to say that at no time did I get a scratch on my hands while working with this tree. I would recommend this tree to friends and family. But I would offer that recommendation with advice to purchase a few extra strands of lights as the original 200 lights were not enough for the look I wanted. I wish I had taken a picture of the tree with only the lights that it comes with, but I am sure other folks will provide those types of pictures. "Trees are never as tall as the box says" I thought to myself. "A 'nine foot tree' is almost always an 8.5 foot tree with one flimsy spike that *technically* reaches the 9 foot mark when fully extended. If I buy a 9 foot tree, it'll totally fit under my 9 foot ceilings." And then I clicked "add to cart." I would later learn I was wrong... and that National Tree Company doesn't play around with their tree heights. This thing is massive. It was assembled in under 15 minutes and looked great right off the bat, but it definitely is a FULL nine feet. This will probably have to be my front porch tree next year and I'll need something smaller for the living room but props to National Tree Company for their truth in advertising! And it's oh so pretty! ... show more

For the price we paid, I think this was a great purchase! I believe our previous tree was 7’ or 7’6” but that’s on me, as I didn’t remember. We ordered the tree and when it arrived we assembled immediately, the tip third of the tree had light issues, even after troubleshooting. Amazon sent us a replacement tree and we had it two days later and up to 30 days to return the first one, super happy about that! It was quick to set up the tree. The branches took about 30 minutes to fluff up or whatever you call it, my son and I worked on it to cut down the time. Filled out pretty nicely. I bought this tree in 2020 for the Christmas season. It was easy to set up and everything was fine. But one night all the bottom lights went out. I checked the plugs and they weren't loose. But every light on the bottom tier was out. I accidentally jiggled the tree and voila! The lights were back on. So Christmas 2021 I set up the tree and once again the bottom lights are out. So I jiggled the tree and they come on again. That was the last year for that tree. Too bad. It did look cute when I was lit all over. ... show more

Beautiful!! Realistic!! Superior craftsmanship!! I LOVE my new Christmas tree! This gorgeous true to size, Christmas tree is wrapped with the perfect amount of soft white bulbs.
