This majestic Jersey Fraser Fir tree is 7.5 feet tall and 65 inches in diameter at the bottom, giving the tree a wide profile. Molded from real tree branches for an authentic living tree appearance, this tree features our trademarked ‘Feel Real’ technology. Hundreds of crush-resistant polyethylene tips form full bodied branches, creating a tree with remarkable realism. The tree is designed with a hinged branch system that allows the branches to swing down for a quick and simple set-up and fold back in for easy storage. Set aside 45-60 minutes after assembly to properly shape the tree by peeling back the branches and pulling the tips apart to give the branches a more full-bodied look. After years of real trees in our livingroom which has a wood burner next to the tree location, I decided a fake tree was a much safer way to go. THis is our first fake tree and so we were very reluctant. We bought a Balsam Hill (6.5' for $399 with no lights). It was way too small and narrow so we retunred it. I then took measurements and reserached the widest 7.5' tall tree I could find on Amazon. This tree claims to be 65" (more like 60"), but it was so much better than Balsam Hill's tree pus it had lights. The set up was easy, took about an hour to shape. The lights are awesome! Way more lights than we ever put on, it looks amazing. After shaping we found it to be full and very ife like, unlike many others' reviews. As a fake tree outsider I was very skeptical, esppecially after the Balsam Hill tree experience. This National Tree Company 7.5' tall lighted tree has exceeded my expectations and I highly recommend you ignore the negative reviews and go for it. You will not be dissappointed. I read all the reviews before buying. Some people had lighting issues, which is a legitimate issue. Luckily our lights were perfect. But the complaints about the tree not being full, or being able to see the wiring, or about the pine needles being two different quality needels is all nonsense! Wehn you spedn the time to shape it properly, the tree is very full looking. As for the wires being visible, arent the strings of lights you would manullaly strong on be visible too? This is truly a non issue and that person needs a hobby. As forf the two different needles, that's how they keep costs down, and honestly, once the tree is fluffed up and decorated, it's not even noticeable. Hope this review helps. After much review of prelit Christmas trees on various websites, I determined that Amazon offered the best prices on National Tree Company trees. Then it was a matter of narrowing down all of the tree options. We wanted a full, pre-lit tree. This tree won on price point and appearance. We immediately assembled the tree when it arrived and discovered one string of lights (2 branches) did not work. (Found a broken wire.) I requested a call back from Amazon customer service and received an immediate call back from THE BEST CSR I've talked with in recent memory! Lindsay was knowledgeable about my order and shipped a replacement tree that I received within days. All was well with the replacement and I shipped the first tree back with no problems. Our Christmas tree is not a huge focal point during the holidays, so this tree is just what we were looking for without a huge investment. ... show more

    • What I got was not what I expected

I have a Balsam Hill tree that was rather old so I thought I'd replace it with a new tree. This National Tree caught my eye and I thought I'd try it. This week I set it up so I'd have no surprises at Christmas The photos looked beautiful. Apparently the photo isn't of my tree. The major advantage of this tree is it is inexpensive. The major disadvantage of this tree is it is cheap. They suggest you watch a video before assembling the tree which would be a good idea if the tree in the video was like the tree I received. They must use the very best trees for the video. Apparently mine is not. The problem is the cheap way the wiring is done. The video suggests you install layer by layer. That doesn't work because wiring jumps from layer to layer making it very difficult to do what they suggest. After trying my best, I discover that a large segment of the lights don't work. Imagine my surprise because they all worked on the tree in the video. I finally found the problem and it was caused by the cheap wiring which had broken on one of the limbs. Again, the wiring is cheap and the method of stringing the wiring is also cheap. But when I finally got everything setup, I was very disappointed with the density of the branches - certainly less than desirable. Hopefully, the Christmas ornaments will improve the appearance. I realize Balsam Hill is more expensive but it might be your best bet. For me, I'll probably keep this tree because now that I've opened it and spread all the branches, I can't get it back in the box. ... show more

If you're looking for a great pre-lit tree then this is it. I bought the 7.5 ft tree and couldn't be happier. This tree has the most lights that I could find on the market. I HATE stringing lights so the fact that this one has 1200 was a big selling point for me and boy does it look beautiful! I read some reviews complaining about gaps, but just like any other artificial tree you have to fluff the branches which took me about two hours. It was well worth the time and effort. Not really sure if this is normal, but the tree is shedding needles. I have not even decorated it yet. Leave a lost of time to expand the tree branches. I have not decided if I will return. Still haven't decorated it.

This is a beautiful tree. Lights, lights lights! My only surprise was how wide it is at the bottom, but if you love a big tree, you will love it. I purchased the 7.5 ft. My Santa tree is the second National tree I ordered from Amazon. Easiest to put together with the hinged sections. Fluffed up really nice. This one had colored lights. No blinking options which I don’t use anyway. I highly Recommend the hinged trees from National.
