I purchased a pair of these to accompany a No. 3 hinge made from the same company. They are well made and seem sturdy; I opted for the stainless steel versions as a direct replacement for my 30 year old versions. I could see the numerous ball-bearings helping to rotate the wheel and there was a good amount of lubricant placed all around the roller. It easily fit right into both No. 1 and No. 3 hinges on my garage door. It literally took only a few moments to pop the older rollers out and place these. I live in a small town, it takes forever for someone to repair anything here. I measured my existing rollers and ordered the appropriate size. Easy install, took five minutes because it was the top roller missing.

These rollers made a dramatic improvement in the performance of my garage door. A nylon (presumably quieter, but may wear out sooner) version is also available. Whatever you do, don't remove the brackets at the bottom of your door. With the proper tool, these rollers can be removed and installed with little effort and without removing anything. Search for a YouTube video if you don't already know the easy way to replace them. I'm totally satisfied with this exceptionally well-made product. ... show more
