We followed all the instructions but even after a week the crystal is small and barely glows no matter how much time we put a lamp on it

The instructions were clear, but the kit does not come with a container to grow the crystal in. The only container we had that would hold 3 cups of boiling water was a pyrex bowl and I'm afraid it may be ruined. :(

I purchased 2, one for each of my (7 & 10 yr old) grandsons. Finally, grandma’s gift was a hit!!! My boys have everything imaginable and it’s hard to get them a gift that’s different than what they already have. This kit did the trick! They even had their parents text photos to me because they were so proud of their crystals. I love the fact that they thought it was fun, and I knew that they were learning something new.
