  • Perfect cake every time!
The media could not be loaded. This little guy gets the job done, quickly and easily! Paired with an yarn umbrella/swift, it makes caking yarn (excuse me...) a piece of cake. Seriously though, it works great for normal sized hanks of yarn. I love that there's an esay way to grab the yarn for a center pull. I've only needed it a dozen times or so, so I can't speak to longevity, although it does seem pretty sturdy. 100% would recommend. (PS, the yarn shown is a hank of #1, sock weight) ... show more

  • Works well for me
This was easy to set up. I crochet a lot, and wonding up my yarn into managable balls was time consuming. The balls were hard, not easily stored. This contraption winds the yarn into very soft cakes. They are easier to compress for storage. Finding the start of the cake is easy as well. I am glad I made this purchase. Update: Worked so well, I bought one for my daughter, who is a knitter. Works hreat for her as well. ... show more

  • Good product
Easy to use, a must if you are a rug tufter. This makes re winding a bundle of yarn take less then 2 minutes as long as it’s not super tangled and knotted.

  • A little noisy but an excellent machine
This is an excellent machine and it makes yarn easier to use. The downside is that it's fairly noisy.

  • Definitely worth the money.
I rolled all of my yarn into balls myself for years. I finally decided to get a ball spinner, and I'm so happy I did. What was taking me upwards of an hour to do, is now done in minutes. So now I have more knitting and crocheting time.

  • Feels cheap, works like a champ
So I was a little worried about the durability of this thing at first but Holy hell was it a great purchase. It made dozens of adorable little cakes out of my unruly yarn stash in no time flat. It's a great purchase.

  • Don't waste your time or money!
This is the most frustrating thing! I spend less time winding yarn by hand then I do with this! I will be returning it for a refund!!!

  • Works but cheap
Easy to use and worked well but broke after a few uses.
