The media could not be loaded. This little guy gets the job done, quickly and easily! Paired with an yarn umbrella/swift, it makes caking yarn (excuse me...) a piece of cake. This was easy to set up. I crochet a lot, and wonding up my yarn into managable balls was time consuming. The balls were hard, not easily stored. This contraption winds the yarn into very soft cakes. They are easier to compress for storage. Finding the start of the cake is easy as well. I am glad I made this purchase. Update: Worked so well, I bought one for my daughter, who is a knitter. Easy to use, a must if you are a rug tufter. This makes re winding a bundle of yarn take less then 2 minutes as long as it’s not super tangled and knotted.

I rolled all of my yarn into balls myself for years. I finally decided to get a ball spinner, and I'm so happy I did. What was taking me upwards of an hour to do, is now done in minutes. So now I have more knitting and crocheting time.

So I was a little worried about the durability of this thing at first but Holy hell was it a great purchase. It made dozens of adorable little cakes out of my unruly yarn stash in no time flat. It's a great purchase.
