I ordered this for my husband, who was going as Slash to an 80's party. We went with a 2XL. He normally is an XL but is broad through the chest and shoulders. The 2xl worked great! It does have a slight chemical smell to it, I recommend washing before wearing. The color and look was just what we wanted. It wasn't real heavy of a material but a light denim so he did not get too hot. It is a distressed look and a faded black. It seemed to be a vest we could even sew a patch on later if we wanted to. He has only worn it once, but it seems to be durable with several pockets for holding items inside and outside. We did cut the seams on the outside lower pockets as they come sewed shut. ... show more

The quality and overall look is exactly as pictured. Very pleased but they definitely run at least one size smaller than what is on tag. I got a 3XL to put patches on. It'll work because I wouldn't button it anyway and they do not offer a 4XL.

What's the deal with the sewed shut pockets? And the interior pocket having an opening in the seam? Doesn't make much sense. The product is light weight and I got a XXL and it fits not bad but definitely more on the snug side but not by much. Not true black at all more like a dark dark grey.

It's great! Right price for what I wanted, good weight to the denim. I was surprised that some of the fraying went all the way through but that works for the aesthetic. It's a little big, but I ordered true to size (XL) and it fits with or without a jacket under it. I'm 6'2", 200lb.
