If I could give this horrible mattress zero stars I would. I ordered the 6” version for my toddler’s room. It arrived on time, and we opened the box. I’ve ordered several boxed mattresses over the years and I have never had one come out looking (or smelling) anything like this. First of all, the odor was insane. So strong you could immediately smell it from the other room, and over the next day or so, from other parts of the house. I knew immediately that I didn’t feel comfortable making my child sleep on this even if the smell died down, but we let it sit and do its thing for the recommended timeframe (the smell absolutely did not improve). Secondly, other boxed mattresses tend to pop out evenly, with maybe just some drooping at the corners that needs to expand, but this thing was flat as a pancake over about 30% of it, which has also not changed. It’s also very thin, and not quite its full 6” thickness even in the plumpest part. Also, it arrived with some stains on the cover that looked dirty, like someone with dirty feet had walked on it or something. Gross. I immediately requested a refund, and Amazon said that they would schedule a UPS pickup the next business day, no need for a label or a box. I thought this was great…until nobody showed up. I’ve chatted with Amazon support 3 times now, and this monstrosity is still here, stinking up my house. It’s been 3 days and I may end up just throwing it out and taking the loss because the smell is giving me a headache. So yeah…just don’t buy this. We ended up picking up an 8” Zinus from our local Walmart and it was perfect right out of the box with zero odor. Highly recommend! ... show more

    • NOT like a Gel memory foam...

I love my 6" mattress, as it not like a Gel memory foam one. I would never sleep on a mattress which keeps you palm print for minutes... (see the video) It is firm enough not to sink into it and soft enough to sleep comfortably on the side or at any other positions. It restores the gap from your body in 3-5 seconds. When you turn to another side after several hours of sleep - the gap disappears almost immediately. When you sit down at the edge - you may "feel" that you are gotten to the very bottom. Maybe 8" or thicker will hold the sitting body, but I bought this 6" mattress rather for sleeping :-) I gave 72 hours for the mattress to get fully inflated. Within first 24 hours it produced a slight smell, but after 72 hours there was no smell at all. After 2 weeks - I am still happy with this product. ... show more

    • Nice Firm Mattress BUT
This mattress Is the level of Firm I have been looking for. I like Firm with just enough give to be a gentle support And Not Sink in. I was expecting some Off gassing . & there was. The Latex/ Ammonia smell was gone in about 48 hours ( 3 nights of me sleeping on the floor) Then there is the Musty smell - like I had when I stored blankets in an unheated / not climate controlled garage type storage unit. How do you wash a 6 inch foam mattress twice. I had the mattress flat on my base layer for 2 nights- but when I lifted it up to do a sniff test I realized I needed to prop it up- so I tilted the mattress up so it rested on an edge I had the ceiling fan on & had the window by the bed open after 2 more nights on the floor - on the mat I use on my camp cot- I gave up and am dealing with the continued ( Very slowly decreasing) musty smell. I only leave my fitted sheet on during the day & toss the rest of the bed clothes to the side to allow the mattress to continue to air out the mattress is now directly on my bed slats ( and is more comfy than when it was on the base pads- which made it a bit "squishier" over all) On just the slats it is the Firm " I was looking for. cannot wait for it to stop smelling like "musty blankets" . ... show more

So the mattress is apsolutely not 6" thick. We thought maybe it needed a little time to expand after being packages so tightly, but sadly that is not the case. The fabric covering is extremely loose and does not fit the inside material properly. The only reason I gave a decent review, was because of the softness. The price was about $140 and the delivery was pretty quick. However, knowing what I know now, I would have not purchased this item. Kind of expensive for just a topper. ... show more

Call me crazy but I sleep on this bed more than the children I bought it for. I actually sleep on THIS twin mattress more than my own bed. Granted I don’t want to sleep next to my husband in our king because he snores like a sumbich, but that has nothing to do with why I love this bed. I sleep better on the NapQueen because it is just comfortable. My kids don’t like the mattress because they aren’t springy and fun for ‘jumping on the bed’ but these mattresses are great because sleep is my priority. ... show more

I'm only giving 1-star because according to the site, this mattress is supposed to be free of toxic components. It smelled of ammonia so bad, I put it in my spare bedroom with the window open. UPDATE....I've had this mattress for a few months now, and I am so sorry for purchasing this item. It is my first "memory foam", so I gave it time to get used to it. It flattens in the spots where I lay, and doesn't go back to the original shape. It's uncomfortable. YES, I know it's memory foam, but I will never get one again. I have been trying to figure out how to get this mattress more comfortable. Well I flipped it over(you aren't supposed to do that) because the "sleep" side has sunk in terribly. I'm so fed up with this, I figured it couldn't hurt. I'll update after a few nights of testing. Well, the same problem. So, I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS MATTRESS. ... show more
