The bed is comfortable, with caveats. While it is overall a medium firm bed, you sink into the top layer. this is great if you have a healthy sleep position. I have to sleep on an incline for my reflux, so I wake up with my butt sunk in feeling like I've been sitting all night. If I go on my side it's better and we're experimenting with some incline options. The only real frustration with the bed is that with two people, the most comfortable position is in the center and no one gets it. The edges of the bed are not firm at all and if you sleep too close, it feels like you're falling off. This effectively limits the actual size of the bed to less than a queen but more than a full. For the price this mattress is great! It came tightly rolled up and took about four days to inflate. It didn’t have a funky smell. The mattress is very firm and takes some time to mold to your body but it is nice once you get settled in. I bought two for my guest bedrooms. The sides and mainly corners of the beds do not have much support. If you sit on the side or corner of the bed it feels very deflated. I saw another post about the corner not inflating at all. So I got it after I measured my existing bed and I was upset when this one was A LOT smaller than my twin bed. So I put it on guest room instead. I slept on it a few nights and oh my gosh I sleep better on this mattress than may way more expensive twin I have now. I don't toss and turn as much on this one and don't get up as much during the night as I do my other bed. It's just the right amount of firm and soft. It really is a good mattress for the price. we’ve had this mattress a few days now, first night definitely didn’t think we were going to like it, now we’re kind of warming up to it but might get a softer mattress topper thing just in case. i feel like it’s more on the firm side. but it’s still nice and comfortable and does the job.

So honestly I read all the reviews and I took a chance on getting this bed because I saw some bad reviews but I got a full size 8 inch nap queen bed and it is perfect it inflated perfectly within 24hours I slept on it one night and then my Linenspa 3 Inch Memory Foam Mattress Topper, Gel Infused Full Mattress Topper, CertiPUR-US Certified topper came the next day and I highly recommend getting this topper with the bed together it's a match made in heaven. But really I took a huge chance because the bad reviews but heck I love this bed and the topper especially together. I can't speak for all sizes but for my size t's worth your money trust me. This is more on the firm side of “medium firm”, but very comfortable. There was a mild chemical smell that faded within a few days. My only complaint is that it doesn’t reach 12” even after being left to expand for over 72 hours. It’s 11” at best. It’s not worth trying to return this behemoth since it otherwise fits the bill and I’m happy, but others might want to keep it in mind before paying more for a deeper mattress. ... show more
