It was delivered in less than a week. We had it professionally installed flush against the wall in our master bedroom. It was a 1/2 day job. I looks great and its very simple to use with the included remote. Gives off heat too but we leave the heat off usually so its silent and the room doesn't get too hot. We have a propane fireplace in our den and its the same noise level which doesn't bother us but have to turn if off when the room get overly warm. We love both the blue and orange flame-most other brands only have orange. Doesn't really look like a real flame but more like vapors. This thing is the best fireplace we've ever had and we've had masonry wood burning [messy] and gas insert [great but still need maintenance]. The remote makes starting a fire super easy and it's easy to operate. It has multiple heat settings and does produce enough heat to warm up our great room. I chose Napolean because they have been in the fireplace business for many years and I figured they would get this new tech right. Our builder had no problem installing. I had them recess it into the wall using the dimensions given in the product info. Our builder and everybody who visits thinks its the coolest! ... show more

But it is not Made in Canada as the site infers. It is designed there. Bit of a bummer. Would look best inset in thewall but does well on outside. Definitely a two person install job. Great realistic flames..The heater fan a wee bit noisy.

I always wanted a fireplace in my bedroom. It gives off enough heat in the winter to keep you comfortable. This looks great when lit up very romantic feel. The price was right and it was easy to assemble and mount on the wall.

The media could not be loaded. Just put this up as an insert. It's beautiful and I have to say looks pretty realistic for an electric fireplace. I love the crystals. Provides pretty good heat but I mostly got it for the look of a fireplace since I live in Texas. Love that it can be on without heat, can change to flame colors from all blue, all orange or a mixture of both. Arrived quickly and intact without any problems. My dad installed and I think he did it pretty easily. I was trying to decide between this one and a Dimplex one was similar, but this one was almost half the price. Glad I went with this one. This is an update. I had the fireplace nearly 2 years and the blower stopped working. For what it cost, it didn't last very long. Would not recommend this. It's pretty, but now is in my wall and completely useless ... show more

Just now getting cold enough to actual use the fireplace. I have used it less than a dozen times so far and tonight when I turned it on (heat and flames) it made a terrible racket. Noise Stopped after about 15 minutes. I think it was the fan. So I am doubtful it will last the entire season. Sad as think the fireplace is pretty and a great size for us. ... show more
