I wasn't completely happy with this futon when I first unpacked it. I was going to return it, but didn't. The cost to return was pretty close to the cost of the futon. Its not that great but its not awful. Its very firm at first, so as long as you have the patience to allow it to break in, then Its not so bad. Im also not a fan a of leather. We bought this for under my daughters loft. It fits great, pretty comfortable. Her friends say it’s good to sleep on. Easy to unbox and put together less than ten minutes. Good quality especially for the price. *edit 1 year later. I’m changing from five to four stars. Still cute, easy to clean and works well for a sleepover bed for kids. But the legs are attached with staples and cheap wood. When my daughter pulled it out to lay it flat one of the legs broke out of its attachment. It was an easy fix to remove the wood and staples, replace with new wood and screw it in. see photos. Much more sturdy and I don’t have to throw away a good sofa. It is a situation of you get what you pay for but I’m dropping one star because with probably $5 in parts and labor on the manufacturing part this would be a great piece of furniture. Make sure you pick up the entire, very light sofa when you pull it out to make the back lay down. It will take two people but it’s easy. * edit on my edit it doesn't seem to allow photos now. This sofa bed fits all the common use cases - easy to use and move. It is pretty lightweightand seems sturdy. I do worry about the overall leg strength over time but for now these are handling pretty well. This sofa is not designed for heavy use but is perfect for when you have company. Packaging and assembly were nice and easy. Legs came inside the sofa to keep everything together. Assembly was just screw the legs on to make it as easy as possible. It's an absolutely beautiful futon. Fabric is soft and chair is very comfortable. My 6yo granddaughter loves it. It only require legs to be be screwed in. THAT'S IT!! No tools needed. HOWEVER, one of the back legs broke off when turning it into a bed. She had only slept on it 3 times, and she only weighs 68lbs. ... show more
