I like these locks! They are very easy to use, no problems at all, been using for a few weeks now. Very easy to reset the code to any code you want. And no keys needed is a plus. I use these to lock my Milwaukee packout tool boxes, and they do work great! Although searching the internet, I just recently found a similar lock that has an adjustable shackle, which would have been great for Milwaukee tool boxes, (since for some reason their boxes all need different size locks smh). I wanted to get rid of the gap between the box and the top of the shackle, so that a pair of bolt cutters can’t get in there. So I added a short nut to the shackle to minimize that, and it turned out really well. But I think If you guys were to have an adjustable shackle for the same locks they would be the best out there!

I use a Pelican case to fly my dive gear around the world, and have typically used a wire TSA compatible lock that finally wore through from the force of slamming against the metal hole. While designed for Nanuk cases, these locks are a perfect fit for my Pelican 1610. The bolt is just the right length, solidly built, and there is very little movement or rattling once it’s engaged. For those confused about the design, it’s not the silicone tether you put through your baggage, but the detachable bolt, which is specifically designed for cases with lock points of that size. The combination was easy to customize, and the bolt glides so smoothly I couldn’t tell it was locked until I moved the numbers and tried to pull it open. Appreciate that the combination faces forward on the box so it’s always easy to read. On mine it’s actually not possible for it to turn sideways because of proximity to the latch. Very well thought out and functional product. The two pack lets me lock both sides of the case, or use the second for my carry on case instead.

Great lock for my handgun travel case. I have had issues before where TSA rejected my case / locks because the lock wasn't snug to the case, and it could potentially be cut off, or the case twisted in such a way where someone could access the firearm (I didn't see how, but I am not arguing with TSA right before I need to get on a flight). I took off one star because it took 2 months to receive, which in this day and age is unacceptable. These locks are strong, easy to use, and of good quality. I would recommend them.

This lock works perfectly IF used for it's intended purpose or design. Before you think about buying it for your suitcase, take a look at the photos first. The shaft is 1/4" thick and most definitely won't fit through the padlock hole of the zipper. You're lucky if the zipper pull tabs have holes in them, as some have logos in their place instead. Then there's the issue of those zipper tabs extending out because the shaft is straight and thick instead of U-shaped. On the other hand, it is fantastic IF used as a hardcase lock. It is roughly about the size of a lipbalm stick, is heavy duty and the shaft is about 3-4x thicker than that of a standard luggage padlock (see photo). The shaft is long enough with an extra wiggle room, but too short that it's hard for someone to find leverage to pry or cut it open. It works well with my Lotocase and I'm glad there's two of them for extra security. They are great quality, heavy-duty locks that are worth your money.

I think some have misunderstood the purpose of these - they are specifically designed for pelican-style cases/ suitcases. They're obviously not the most secure things in the world (3 digits and TSA compliant) but they get the job done. For me, they're mainly to keep it from popping open during baggage handling. Good: - Solid feeling, good weight - Silicone to prevent losing the shackle - Perfect fit on an Apache case - I assume it'd be at least as good on a Pelican or Nanuk - Professional looking - Easy to set code, unlock Bad: - A little expensive - Only useful on pelican cases Other: - Watch out for estimated ship date - mine took ~2 months to arrive.
