I wouldn't say it's lightweight, as it does hold in heat. So, if it's a chilly night, it would be fine alone. It came rolled up nice and tight, so I needed scissors to clip the edge of the packaging. It's so soft and lightweight. I'm sure it'll be perfect for cool summer nights. My only complaint is that after the first washing, little pieces of fuzz came loose and stuck on the bed sheet. After a second wash the problem was eliminated. Grey throw doesn't shed. It's durable, soft and supple to touch. It's warm( insulating/cozy). It's actually very light and packs well, but theres enough weight for comfort too. I think it's a great value product.

I was very pleased with this blanket, until I washed it. Lint balls were everywhere. They were in my washer, my dryer as well as stuck to the blanket. I literally had to pick the lint balls off of it. When I finished, the lint was the size of a baseball. That is a lot of lint. It was all over the blanket as well as all around the edges. The color was beautiful and they are very soft as promised. I purchased three of these and had the same issue with all three. Hoping after a few more washings ,this issue will go away.
