***Update to this Review*** I decided to reach out to the seller through Amazon and they sent me a new battery. This fixed the problem and it made my wife extremely happy as well. This is a solid bike but I would strongly suggest that you look to purchase an additional battery with 2-3 years, even if you don't ride the bike often. Within the 2 years that my wife has owned this e-bike she probably has rode it a handful of times. I finally talked her into ridding a trail with me and it turned out to be a HUGE MISTAKE. The battery kept turning completely off. I decided to switch batteries to see if it was something wrong with her bike or just the battery. When I put the battery on my bike it worked fine in the lowest peddle assist but as soon as I turned it to max it shut down completely. The worst thing about Nakto is their customer service. The rep Krystal wad very rude and offered little assistance. For a bike that is practical brand new and has only be rode maybe 6 times the battery should have not malfunctioned this way. Lesson learned I should have spent the extra $300 and purchased the RadRunner 2 from radpowerbikes.com when it was on sale. ***Update to this Review*** ... show more

First off, the company provided 1 tracking number, but sent 2 packages. The package with the tracking # was the lock. I panicked, thinking I had been scammed. I messaged them and that evening I got a 2nd tracking number for the bike. Second, the bike came mostly assembled, which was nice. The instructions are unclear in some areas, but I've put many bikes together, so it wasn't a problem. The biggest problem is that several of the bolts were way too tight. The one that holds the front fender required my husband to get his tools out and loosen it. It took him quite a bit of effort to do it without stripping it. The other ones I couldn't get off were the ones that hold the bracket for the bottom of the basket. I still haven't gotten those off, I just figured out another way to attach it. If you have never built a bike before, or worked on a bike you will most likely need help. I'm sure there are a ton of tutorials online. For the actual functioning of the bike, it rides nicely. It's much smoother and more powerful Than lime bikes. The seat is a bit hard, but a gel cushion fixed that. It is quite powerful. I'm 220 lb and I was able to take hills fairly easily in the lower gears. My first ride out, the lens for the headlight fell off. The light functions well without it, so I left it off. For the price, I think the bike is a fair value. I would have given 4 stars if it were easier to assemble. ... show more

I love the fit of the bike. I'm 5'3" so the hight of the 22" wheels is perfect! The assembly was pretty good, I had trouble with the left pedal but my 14 year old got it right away. I charged it and the next day, I biked around and made sure the breaks were set right, once that was done we went on 5 miles ride. The bike preference was great, the seat however is hard. It might be that I haven't really rode a bike in 20 + years. Which is why I decided to purchase the pedal assist bike. I have done over 19 miles and would recommend it to anyone.. that wants to get back on the bike to ride with friends and family that bike alot. ... show more

I am an older overweight short woman. This bike is the perfect e bike for me. Several of my neighbor ladies have tried it and found it to be the perfect size for them. I love that it is just peddle assist and throttle and no gears. I tried my husband Lectric bike and it was just too much bike for me

I love this bike. I’ve taken it out quite a few times now, and even out for a couple hours. It’s easy to ride and use the electric component as well as read it manually. I installed a kids trailer to it, but we had to adjust the coupler feature because that didn’t fit The bike itself. Anyways, the bike can pull a trailer with a 40 pound kid up a hill. The brakes are great too, pulling that same trailer down a hill, it feels very safe. I highly recommend this bike. However, my husband assembled it and some of the Screws and nuts were very very tight, he needed his personal tools to get the job done. ... show more

I just got the bike. I have been out on 3 short trips around my neighbor hood. I love love love this bike. I am 5'3" and weigh 130 lbs. I wear leg braces due to very bad peripheral neuropathy. The bike comes almost fully assembled. The directions and owners manual could use some improvement for sure which is why I gave a 4 star overall review. If not for my bf, I would probably have just taken it to a bike shop to assist me. I am still learning the bike. I have not figured out how to take it out of pedal assist and just make it manual but I will figure that out today. I thought i saw it was made in California but it says plainly on the box that it was made in China. I probably wouldn't have bought it if I had known that but...my bf has a RAD ebike which is amazing but triple the cost. I'll add to this review after I experience the bike more. ... show more
