Out of the box I am very impressed so far. Despite all the negative/low scoring reviews, I really like this bike. This bike was very easy to assemble relative to a standard pedal bike. It feels solid and is really good quality. There was an updated instruction booklet that came with the bike which clearly depicts proper assembly with a single photo. It is easy to function. There were no missing parts. Out of the box, the bike topped out at 23mph; HOWEVER, if you read the codes for the bikes computer, you can easily remove the ‘governor’ and the bike WILL reach much higher speeds. On a flat terrain, with no pedal assist (all throttle) the bike topped at 32.9mph (shown in photo). With no pedal assist (all throttle) and a slight decline, I got the bike to reach 40mph. SANTA MONICA This is a good e bike, not fabulous but good value for the casual rider . Reasonably well made and well equipped , it will suit most riders . This is not an enthusiasts bike , nor commuter quality . Strictly recreational riding, with enough power for usual uphill grades Removed one star because of mis advertizing by Nacto. This is advertised as 1000w motor but it is plsinly marked on the motor hub 500w. This bike can't do what the item title promises. It does NOT have a 1000w motor, it does NOT have 26" tires, it does NOT go 35mph. Additionally, the specs part mention a rear rack that did not arrive with the bike. On the speed front, the fastest I've gone is ~21mph. Now, I'm not a light rider by any means, but I feel a 14mph difference isn't justified. Buy at your own risk. ... show more

Bought the Mini Cruiser for my 22yo daughter. I have a 750w bike that cost twice the money and she can mostly keep up with me. I pass her easily on a straight road but she's probably 60lbs lighter and sits lower to the ground so she catches me in corners. If I would have found this bike before I bought mine, I would have bought 2 of these instead. She loves it and I'm kinda jealous of it. ... show more

I am commuting with this bike, Nakto Elegance. I will give a list of the pros and cons to this bicycle in my opinion. Keep in mind that this is my first ebike. Prior to this I rode a high class Electric Motorcycle. Pros: - Cheap price for a fully assembled ebike given the power of the motor and battery - The frame of the bike seems strong and endurable - Achieves the speed limit of my state (20 mph) - The light and horn work well enough - The display allows for customizing settings if you ask the seller for the manual - The seller has been very good at getting back to me and knowledgeable about the ebike itself - The battery is removable and the control is relatively easy to access if need be Cons: - The seat is very uncomfortable (I immediately replaced it) - There are no shocks on this bike and the wheels do not absorb the blow (pick a good seat to help) - The basket does not work with this bicycle. It will be flimsy, droop, and bounce open a lot. (trunk will be better) - The instructions for assembling this bicycle are for their other models. (I figured it out on my own) - The brakes are not the best. They do not stop the bike as quickly as I would like. I have tried tuning them, but had no luck. I might take them to a professional to see what can be done. Ultimately, for this price, the bike works as an entry level e-bike. Little tweaks here and there make it better. I do not know why the website says this bike can go anywhere near 30mph. The highest I have gone is 23mph with a lot of effort and tweaking the settings. 250w motors have their limitations, but that is what you are paying for. It is an appealing bike to look at and I prefer bikes without gears, so this is ideal for me. My adaptations for this bike will be as such: Comfy and shock absorbing seat, take off the front basket entirely, replace the pedals with larger and grippier pedals, and install a trunk on the back for cargo. I did go through the settings on the display and change a few things that made more sense to me. Kind of wish the torque was better given it is electric, but once again, I am coming from a motorcycle so, meh. ... show more
