This product works wonders. I have relaxed hair. I do have a thicker grade of hair along with a short tapered hair cut, at times I would relax/re-touch my hair more frequently so that my hair would lay better because of new growth, with the Nairobi wrapping lotion I have not had to relax/re-touch my hair as often! Some wrapping lotions leave a a residue feel to the hair if too much product is used or the hair is hard to come through. I have naturally coarse hair and this stuff is great for taming the frizzies, especially in humid weather! My hair stays smooth & shiny for at least 3 days after each treatment, including trips to the gym. I purchased an inexpensive hood that attaches to my regular hair dryer and it works really well for applying this treatment and any other deep conditioner. Makes the whole process pretty quick & easy, and can be done right at home in about 15 mins, which is so much cheaper & more convenient than making a trip to the salon for a deep conditioning treatment. ... show more

The product met my expectations. As stated, I have used this product before and found my experience much the same. The difference before was to use it on hair that had been dried under a dryer and applied to less curly hair. Using it on wet hair not dried under a dryer gave different results.
