I saw the reviews, but gave it a go anyways. These are a good grit for buffing and the foam is a nice density. If I could get some kind of handle on to these somehow I would use them more often. They are good for disposable use, but I did get larger ones because holding on to these causes hand pain.

I hate any nail roughness. Like get out of bed and file my nail if there's any edge roughness. I prefer the blocks with the lightest grit but I couldn't find those. These (100/120) are great general purpose. It would take all day to file down a fake nail, but for real nails, these work well. You can remove some length but also smooth the edge. I wouldn't use these across the nail bed unless roughing up the bed is the intention. But these are great multipurpose blocks. You get a TON of them. They are connected, so you could keep a few together if you wanted to create a block but I separate and put a couple in my purse, a couple in all my bags and suitcases, my backpack, the downstairs bathroom, the upstairs bathroom, you name it. They will last a few uses at least. I also used them to sand down a wood barrel a little bit. I think they'd be useful in a shop or garage for just a little bit of high grit sandpaper. I am happy with my purchase, listing properly describes them. I also liked getting the full size bonus blocks. I also much prefer the blocks vs a hard emery board or a glass one, they seem much gentler.

You have plenty for an affordable price. Each buffer is the perfect size as well, so it is not like you're wasting the use if it were to be the bigger ones.
