Directions were a little hard to follow. And it took two hours with two of us putting it together. But I would still give this fireplace a five. It’s absolutely beautiful and exactly what we were looking for. And puts off a lot of heat.

This is definitely a two person job. The directions are excellent but sometimes it takes looking at the pictures. The only problem was fireplace insert needs to be screwed in but there is no holes so out came the drill. With drill we had to put holes on the back of cabinets as there also no holes to put screws into for the back. The material is solid wood. The mantel was recieved almost a week after the fireplace. Know that it arrives in 2 boxes. The picture instructions were poor. It should have written step by step instructions. 2 pages of instructions and 1 step was missing! It took pretty much all day to put together. The last step is screwing fireplace to the mantel and the predrilled holes were missing! Had to drill holes to secure !! All that being said, we love the fireplace, its calming effect and colored lights. Looks very nice in our livng room. ... show more

I would give this five stars because it’s beautiful. However the lights will not sync colors. Green is the only color that I can get all three stripes to do together.
