63 seconds from empty to full. 15 seconds from the recharge point to cut off. So far the quality of the unit seems very good, time will tell. My other (different brands) lasted over 4 years This is a beast, I've had 2 other silent units in the past, but they never kept up with my usage. I don't know if it's truly 14.8 cfm at 90 psi (industry standards) but it keeps up with my hvlp spray equipment and airbrushing, air sander, and other tools. Haven't yet tried it on sand blasting. I have a old 80 gal unit that wakes the dead even in it's enclosed area. This is a nice change, might plumb this into the big tank. Get it you will not be disappointed ... show more

    • Constantly trips breakers
Pros it is quiet as advertised. Negatives Constantly trips 20 amp breakers, it will not refill after pressure goes down without tripping the breaker. You have to drain the air completely to get it to refill. It is on its own dedicated 20 amp plug. Unfortunately I didn’t get to use this use unit and discovered this issue until after my return window was closed or I would have returned this air compressor. So since I was stuck with this unit I researched the problem and it appears to be the capacitors. I just replaced both capacitors and now does seem to be working properly but was another $40. The other issue it does have an adjustable regulator for air pressure. I bought this unit to run lvlp sprayer mainly so I had to other regulators to get the pressure down to where I needed. I bought this unit for the higher cfm without having to buy a higher priced compressor but should have just bought a better higher quality compressor. I would not recommend ... show more

Ordered this product because of 14 CFM rating. Received a week early which was great. I installed a dedicated 20 amp circuit due to reading reviews . ( Seems like manufacturer would state that in the instructions and product description ) . Plugged it in and run it through all the normal uses and it worked fine. I tested a couple CFM hungry tools and they did work , unlike on my small compressor . However. The CFM output is only for a very short period . Less a than a minute then tanks need to refill . Tank is just not large enough to maintain the high volume output. Compressor is much quieter and fills up fairly quickly, 45 seconds . . I expected that outcome but since I am a backyard mechanic it will work with a little patience. Great for weekend warriors but not professionals. To get a compressor to put out 14cfm for a consistent period of time is very expensive !! Couple of things. You should add a regulator . You will get much better performance on low CFM volume tools . 16 bucks on Amazon for a direct coupling connect . 20 amp dedicated circuit a must . Wheel frame was bent, and solenoid covers were just hanging and not screwed down. Poor workmenship and definitely not inspected before shipping ? Decided to just keep it since both were minor issues and did not affect performance . Overall It is definitely worth the price and a good value for the normal home mechanic . I bought this compressor for its uniquely high CFM that I needed to blow out my large irrigation system. It has electrical problems that make it unusable. A couple seconds after turning it on the breaker flips. I know its not my wiring because I have a 20 Amp breaker with 12 gauge wire and a 20 Amp outlet. I got it a new Heavy Duty 20 Amp extension cord with a T blade plug. I even replaced the breaker just to be sure. It always trips under load. Sadly, its another example of bad electronics from China. Arrived missing a wheel. Save yourself the frustration and don't buy this compressor. ... show more

    • 20 amp dedicated circuit with 12 Gauge wire....A-OK
I just plumbed this into my shop, its pretty bloody awesome out of the box. Huge air flow, but its also a power hog. and these other reviewers are having issues because they are probably trying to run it on a 15 amp breaker. This thing needs a dedicated 20 amp breaker and a 20 amp receptacle on 10 to 12 gauge AWG wire. Mine kept tripping on a shared 20 amp circuit, I put in a new dedicated 20 amp breaker with 12 gauge wire to a 20 amp heavy duty receptacle and voila this thing is a beast, blasting continuous at 90 psi. Ive got 9 compressors, none of them can do this. and this is half the decibel level. lets see how it holds up now. ... show more

    • Doesn't run unless tank is empty. Major flaw.
The pros are that this compressor is quiet, lightweight, and with the two motors and four pumps it does move air very quickly as advertised. It was able to power my impact gun and remove lug nuts from my RV with ease. If the air pressure weakened, you only have to wait between 10-15 seconds and the compressor has built up enough air to use the impact again. With these points I give it two stars and am very pleased and impressed with the product... HOWEVER This compressor does not have an unloader valve. Because of this, if there is any air pressure in the tank when the motors start, the motors cannot overcome the pressure to start spinning at speed, and they stall while they spike the amperage draw. Because of the increased amperage, it flips the breaker the compressor is plugged into. I'm a handy guy and will modify the air compressor to continue using it as it does work well otherwise, but don't expect to take it out of the box and just plug it in, unless you want to completely drain the tank each time you want the motors to run. ... show more
