I have used these on both my semi trailer and gooseneck flatbed. They worked as advertised. If you use properly they are a great product. Those that have complained that they don't hold all 30' of strap should have watched the video. I have now ordered another 4 more. I don't store my straps on the winch as the weather and sun deteriorates the straps faster and I don't travel with the winches installed when not actually being used. Use them then put them away. I just took these out of the box and realize they're too short. Cannot stick the pin in to lock in place. I'm bummed bc I'm outside of the return period. I need about another inch to use even one hole.
