The applicator syringe is the best of any kits I’ve used so far, and that’s actually a really important feature. The ones my dentist gave me would stick until I had to push so hard all the gel came out at once, which was a pain. These are much easier to be precise with the direction and amount. It does seem to do a quick whitening and will have a lot of applications in each syringe. The taste is the reason for a star getting knocked off. This stuff is noxious. It has a weirdly sweet disgusting flavor that actually made me gag. My other kit from the dentist didn’t taste like candy but at least it was a mild flavor. This stuff is strong and nasty. So I’ll probably finish off the kit and might use it in a pinch, but I’ll probably have to stick to my dentist’s brand for long term regular use. ... show more

When you order additional gel, make sure it is EXACTLY the same one as the original kit. Turns out the second hit that has the pens ONLY only has 15% cp mint vs the original kit has 35 cp mint per pen. The additional pens are definitely more watery than the original kit. Don't know IF that makes a difference in the whiteness of the teeth but watery gel is gross. ... show more
