These take about 10 minutes to install. The metal piece on the back needs to be pulled down with needle nose pliers in order to fully secure into the window frame. These are significantly cheaper than any blinds store, so if they last 6 months they are worth purchasing. They are solid quality and block out 99% of the light if you measure correctly. These blinds are fantastic. Ordered the black out in the white color for six windows. All had to be custom ordered to size. They were the perfect measurement and the room is nice and dark when closed. We had an issue with one blind on delivery. After messaging the company, a new blind was shipped within 24 hours. First of all, they forgot one of the 2 I ordered. So I had to wait to install them. But once the second one arrived (I had to claim it) they went up easily. The directions were pictures so you had to really pay attention. Luckily I’m a visual learner. When you go to snap it in you may have to loosen one side of the brackets. No problem putting them up and keeping the room very cool. Easy up and down and lightweight. Will buy for more rooms. Highly recommend this product.

These come in exact size as others said, great fit. Instructions are with pictures only, but easy to understand with all the accessories you need. Shades come with FRONT label sticker so you don't have to guess which side to go where. Install took 30mins or so including removal of my old ones. Difference is night and day when you see mine side by side. Having a pair of them blocks out 95% of daylight good for sleep. Would buy again for my next bedroom now that I know these are great fit.

This was super easy to install. I was fortunate that the dimensions were perfect for my window so I didn’t have to cut them down at all. I am VERY impressed at the blackout capability- much better than I was expecting! Will definitely buy again.
