Ok so dispite what you may have heard about the owner creator of this pillow. Froget about it, this is the best pillow ever. I have been on the hunt for the perfect pillow all my life and finally found it. First thing to know. The pillow did not come with instructions but YOU MUST PUT THE PILLOW IN THE DRYER BEFORE IT'S FIRST USE! otherwise it will be flat and just wont make any sense, but after coming out of the dryer it will be all fluffed up and ready for a great night sleep. Now this is not your normal pillow. IT IS NOT A MEMORY FOAM pillow which is a good thing. Memory foam does not hold its shape. The "My Pillow" does! But this also means that if you do any tossing throught the night it does require you to fluff it a little bit. This makes some people say that it feels lumpy. I also recommend a tight fitting pillow case, it will keep everything together better. Hard to find these days but the pocket type case is best not the kind that has an open end. So yes there is a little learning curve to this pillow. But now lets go over what is so great about this pillow. 1) DOES NOT GO FLAT. I have had my first my pillow now for close to 10 years and it is the same as when I first got it. Yes it's a little more expensive than some pillows but well worth it. 2) You can cram the whole pillow into the corner of your suitcase for travel, it squished down to the size of a kleenex box, and then when you take it out it's just like new. Nothing worse than a long airplane flight just to sleep on a bad hotel pillow. And it is pretty lightweight as well, nowhere near the weight of memory foam. 3/4) Mashine washable and Made in the USA 5) So comfortable and supportive. When I sleep on my back I turn the pillow to its side which supports my neck and cradles my head from falling to the side. When sleeping on my side it keeps my neck in perfect alignment. No waking up with kinks in my neck anymore. The pillow now comes in 4 differnent firmnesses. I would recommend the firmest one and then if it is too firm just cut a small hole in it and remove a little stuffing. If there is not enough filling I can imagine it would feel lumpy and not give you the support necessary. I'm writting this review now because I'm gettting my girlfriend one of her own after she dcided to commandeer one of mine. used this as a leg pillow and it is perfect!!! when it gets flat I just throw in dryer for 15 min to restore it. Havent had to yet but know from other my pillows it works great. it is lighter than my old one so when i roll over it is easy to move. love that it retains shape as I start. the it stays cool all night and is comfortable to sleep with!! highly recommend these! I would recommend my pillow company consider one this full that is longer, and comparably stuffed to reach from ankle to arm.

Got this for a travel pillow. Seems like every time I stay in a hotel the pillows are about like marshmallows and I like a really firm pillow for sleeping. It's a good quality pillow, but not quite as firm as I would like. Of course, that's a subjective opinion and others might find it perfect for their needs. It's been on several extended vacations and so far it's held up very well. Overall it's a good buy and well worth the money.

I kill pillows. There isn't a comfortable pillow I have owned that I usually don't flatten with a couple days. The only pillows I have not ruined had to be made of solid "comfort" foam and, because of that, they were always uncomfortable, because they never conformed to my head and neck. Enter My Pillow extra firm fill. I was a skeptic. I have seen the goofy TV commercials for years. The pillows in the commercials looked like flimsy head rests waiting for me to crush in my sleep and then throw away as garbage. Last week I had had enough of the two goose down pillows my neck and arms have suffered with the past two years and so I was on the hunt for my next fluffy filled victims. So, I decided to gamble and purchase the My Pillows using Amazon rewards points. I am happy I did. My first night sleeping on the extra firm My Pillow took getting used to. What I mean is, I was so used to supporting my head and neck with my arm under a crappy pillow that I was not used to having my arm laying at my side. The pillow firmly supported my head and neck and when I fell asleep, I slept through the night. When I awoke in the morning, I was surprised by two things. I was in the same position I had fallen asleep in and my hips did not hurt like they usually do (I was about to get a new mattress because of hip pain). I still do not understand how head position helped me with my hips, but the My Pillow helped! The second night of use put a big smile on my face. The My Pillow is so soft and comfy, but the extra firm fill was still doing its job of supporting my head and neck, that I fell asleep right away. I had a terrific night sleep! I have been using the My Pillow now for only four nights, but it has survived. You can see by the picture that it (the one with the pink cover) looks pretty close to the one next to it without the cover. I have not used the uncovered one... yet. Overall, this is the best pillow I have owned. However, I will give it some more time to beat on it in sleep. It may still find itself collapsing like all past pillows I have owned. I will see. But, so far so good! A couple tips. Make sure you put the pillows in the dryer to fluff them up like the instructions tell you to do. I put mine in the dryer on medium heat for 30 minutes. I recommend getting a firmer pillow than what you think you need. It seems to me that the firmer the pillow the more fill it has in it. Something to think about. I would not hesitate to buy this pillow again... in fact, I just bought two more of them!

After my mother was thrilled with her My Pillow, I thought I would try it for myself. Since I am a sizable gal, I determined that I needed the firmest density. To improve my odds of having maximum loft, I chose the gusseted option. Overall, I am pleased. No, it is not perfect. Because I switch from back to sides throughout the night, my needs are constantly changing. The first part of the night is fantastic! I start on my back with the pillow pulled under my neck and cradling my head with great support. However, in the morning after I have spent time on my side and return to my back, the support under my neck has vanished. If I wake up, I turn the pillow over and have the support again. I gave this five stars because it is better than anything I have tried in years. UPDATE: I have solved my problem with the morning flattening issue. I ordered the My Pillow Bolster pillow and case, both available here on Amazon. I wanted a travel pillow, and read about how this could be used in front of one of the hotel pillows. It did well with the hotel pillow, so I tried it in front of my Premium My Pillow. FABULOUS! Now I sleep most of the night on my back (my preferred position), and my snoring has reduced considerably. Today, I ordered the fourth and fifth pillows for the household. So, you could say we are pleased. Also, in a response to someone's question, the company representative mentioned putting a damp washcloth in the dryer when you are fluffing it. Make sure you have heat, and you will have a really fluffed-up pillow.

I go through pillow's like crazy i havr tried them all just about ,soft,firm xtra firm u name it iv tried ,so usually thenextra firm reg pillow last me about one to three months, and i get a new one ,i get head aches real bad ,if my neck is not positioned perfect i suffer for days ,neck ache ,shoulder pain and the unforgiving tention headache ,so i got the my pillow ,,hoping and praying if i was to spend 60$ on a pillow it better be a damn good pillow ,iv had it for four nights and three of those mornings iv woke up with intense head and neck pain ,but i dont blame the my pillow ,i love the pillow ,i just think i should have gone with ,just a regular firm ,i think its that my head sits to high up and my body is so much lower that it causes my neck to strain wile sleeping.. Problem is i wont be spending another 60$ for another pillow ,i like the feel and i like that i can move it and puch it and bunch it to my liking enough to actually fal asleep...thats huge ....so i dont blame the pillow i purchased and chose .i blame my self for choosing wrong ,its very hard to feel the pillow through the screen on my phone or tablet so its kinda difficult to know for sure ...i just wish i could change it to one down ...i may try removing some of the stuffing and go from there ,do i think and believe that this is a good product my answer is YES ,its well made and very comfortable ,i dont have to shift it flip it or triple pillow case it ( yes i have had to do that in the past just to keep the filling in place ) thanks for taking the time to read this review.
