For the money, eh, it is fine. If you want a great $800 tilting angle machine vise, you have to pay that much or more. This is an inexpensive import, and it does what I need it to do, with all the accuracy I am personally capable of. In my next life, I hope to acquire $180,000 worth of machine tools for my (barn) shop, but in this life, it took me too long to earn the money I needed to buy them, so this is a good working compromise.

Appears to be cheaply manufactured. Most difficult to change angles with. I'm having to use rubber mallet to adjust. Probably will put it in my "bad buy" pile of tools.

I didn’t know quite to expect, as many of the vises reviewed of Pacific Rim origin usually get poor reviews. I was pleasantly surprised at this unit. It was saturated with oil out of the box, and once cleaned up, I find it to be better than expected at this price point. The jaws run reasonably well in guides, the tilting action is smooth with no catching or rough spots. Tilt angle is held firmly in place. Definitely not a machinist working shop piece, but for a home shop, this will do the job.

The vice seemed well designed and well machined. It, of course, needed cleaning from oil once unwrapped but less than other chinese castings. I was surprised at how "beefy" it was. There was a stop every 15 degrees that worked well and that seemed accurate, and you can lock it down at any point in between. Nice tool, especially nice for the money
