This heater is easy to set up. It took a few minutes to attach the feet, and a few minutes more to mount it on a couple of pieces of scrap lumber. I was worried that it would be too hot to place straw under it, but using an infrared thermometer showed that the straw wasn't getting above 50 degrees F.     • Good heater for little areas
I have been using this heater for a small bathroom where the toilet area is. Since it is tile and cold during the winter months, this works perfectly. I have it sitting upright with the heat side facing where the cold feet area is, and it keeps it nice and warm. It's not for big areas but enough to keep the tile area warm and by convection, also keeps our little bathroom a little warmer and more comfortable. The main controls are pretty easy to use, however the wattage setting seems a little confusing, but it comes with instructions and is easy to set up, just a few screws for the feet. It's not overly sturdy, the feet seems like they could break easily, so you'll want to put it in area where it won't be kicked.
