This was a gift for my son who works on cars. The fact that its rechargeable is great. The light is focused and fairly bright for working in darkened areas of the engine etc. The material seems like it will hold up well for at least a couple of years as long as it isnt snagged roughly on a part and ripped. The one drawback is the one size fits all aspect. His hands are a little small for them so they are a bit loose. would much rather sizing to match to different sized hands, but his are close so they are still usable. I bought these for my husband who is a mechanic and loves to fish. Sometimes he likes to fish at night and these make it easier for him to do so. It also helps when working on this in tight, dark areas.
