    • A good solution for an open fireplace
Size: 39" x 32"
Easy to use, decent product, so far so good

    • An unusual use for the screen!
Size: 36" x 30"
I did not buy this for our fireplace. We needed something to put in windows to keep the cat from clawing/ripping the window screen. I cut the mesh cover to the size I wanted, attached the magnets that were provided to the trim of the metal window screen and attached the mesh to the magnets. (A whole mesh would have been too wide for our window.) I tucked the cut side of the mesh between the glass window and the screen window. When we want to close the window, we just take the mesh out of the window. We have to do it this way as, when closing the window, it is a tight fit due to the attached magnets. Our cat has reached up the mesh with her claws and tugged on it but it has saved our window screens. The mesh is cut into two widths so we can have the window open a little or a little wider. I bought two mesh covers so I can actually put one in four windows. Really meets our needs. ... show more

    • Place mash cover only when fireplace is Called and not in use
Size: 36" x 30"
Great cover-up for when not in use. Have to make sure to educate everyone that this has to be removed if you are using the fireplace. Magnets were strong enough. The Mesh fireplace cover looks nice.

    • Works exactly as you hope!
Size: 39" x 32"
Perfect to keep my puppy from pulling the coals out. The magnets are strong—I put it up months ago and haven’t had to adjust it once. Blends in with the black curtain that is behind it, so I don’t even notice it.

    • Not Safe. Stinky.
Size: 36" x 30"
the trim holding together started to melt up against the wood stove. the mesh seemed fine. we later cut that burnt part of outter trim off and tried again. a piece of log rolled close to mesh and that started to melt. find a pure wire mesh that can tolerate heats, that's why a fireplace uses steel mesh screens. ... show more

    • Decent product, but didn’t provide a solution.
Size: 36" x 30"
The product is overall good, it just didn’t fix the problem I thought it would. I was looking for something preventative for my toddler, and this doesn’t work because the magnets don’t hold when he pushes on it. This product is better suited if you need a solution for pets.

    • Works well
Size: 36" x 30"
This has worked really well to keep my cats out of the fireplace. I did have to glue some other magnets I have to it since what it comes with isn't enough but it was affordable and got the job done.
