This thing is FUN!! It makes yarn coils quick and easy!! No more balls of yarn laying around....this takes those balls of yarn and quickly coils them up!!

Works well. My only issue is that the yarn slips beneath the spindle once the ball has gotten larger. Have to slow down the process when the ball reaches a certain size to make sure the yarn stays on the ball and doesn’t start slipping below the base.

I love this yarn cake maker. It was easy to attach to my table, watched a YouTube video on how to thread the yarn and cranked till it was complete. I am so happy. It took me less than 30 minutes to roll 2 jumbo skeins. So much better than hand rolling. The only negative would be that I had to make 3 average size cakes per jumbo skein. I bought a more expensive model hoping it would be better quality. Broke on my first ball of yarn. Now you can hear pieces of metal rattle inside. Returning. Might as well try a cheaper model.
