Absolutely fantastic!! I stained and sealed my new fence with it. It looks amazing, it was about 85% faster than staining it by hand, and it used less stain than doing it by hand. After Hurricane Harvey, I lost my fence as did several of my immediate neighbors. We all got our fences replaced at the same time and since my neighbors are elderly I offered to stain their fences for them for free. Well, after I got through staining about a quarter of mine by hand, I started realizing what a big job it really is. So I started looking at sprayers and I came across the My 4 Sons sprayer and bought it. I have to admit there is a learning curve for using this sprayer, but once you get the hang of it and match the right material up with the right nozzle with the right pressure, it performs beautifully!! When I first got it, it comes with about 10 nozzles. I had no idea which one to use, so I became frustrated because I blew through about a gallon of stain in 30 seconds. It just blew out the tip like a glob. I was very sad and put it away and went back to doing it by hand. Well, in the meantime, I got the sprayer back out and filled it with water and tested a few nozzles and pressures until I slowly but surely started figuring it out. I found that the included brass nozzle works very well for this application. You can maximize the pressure and close the nozzle tight and it produces a fine cone-shaped spray. Or you can back off the pressure about half way and open up the nozzle a little bit and that also works nicely depending on the type of application you desire. Once I learned how to use it, it put me in a very happy place. It applied the material very evenly and incredibly fast. And no pumping! The battery lasted for several hours, in fact I never did run it out even after staining my entire fence and both of my neighbors fences too. Customer service is unbelievable. I called twice to ask a couple of questions and I think it went to a rep's cell phone who was a total pleasure. He took the time to help me through my questions and even called me back the night before Thanksgiving to answer another question. Excellent. I would assume that this sprayer can be used for a lot of applications. There are several nozzles included and you could wash your car, water hard to reach plants, spray pesticides, take it to the beach for rinsing salt and sand off of you and your beach stuff, etc... I am super happy with it. PS: VERY IMPORTANT: USE THE INCLUDED TEFLON TAPE at your joints (nozzle tip to wand, wand to wand grip handle, wand handle to hose, hose to base) Also, evidently there are two versions of this unit, a blue one and a white one. This unit sprayed over 320 gallons on 3 charges. I ran it all day on a single charge and sprayed thousands of trees in the course of several days with no issues. 20 footers are no problem and with great control. I am very pleased. The variable pressure control can be adjusted while spraying is something I didn't think would be terribly useful but it totally is. In areas that you want to fog, turn the pressure up momentarily and then back down to control over spray and get product exactly where you need it instead of all over the place. This feature saved me hundreds of dollars in chemicals and no doubt less environmental impact while still getting great coverage. The battery life is very good, the comfort of the straps is good, some reviews talk about weight, gallons of liquid is going to weigh a bunch even if the pack doesn't so if carrying a pack that weighs 40 lbs sounds okay then this is very good. A trailer or truck is out of the question for me, and this worked perfect. The only thing that would make it better for me would be if it had a reservoir for product and one for water with a mixing device that could be set to dilute to the proper level... I had to put 2 oz product for every 4 gallons water. Measuring mixing every tank takes time and has more risk of spills. Maybe a separate container for chemicals connected by a hose so someone like me could have a 12 oz bottle and add product every 5-6 tanks and someone running 1:1 could get a bigger tank and run 2 gallons in each or just use it like it is now and mix in the one? The wand works very well and doesn't leak or drip at all. It is easy to adjust although the extra tubing that extends through the wand needs to be dealt with when it is collapsed it is done easily and worth dealing with to not have the leaks. If you are rough on stuff I could see this getting damaged by setting something on it or banging it around. It is light weight and balanced well, making it easy to operate all day. IMO considering price, it is perfect as is. Just treat it well. Customer support is amazing. The shipment missed the wand order, I called Lance Saturday and I got it sent out and had it Monday morning! ... show more

One of the best products I could ever recommend. My wife got this for me and it is AMAZING. I wish I would've had this years ago. It cut down 5 hours worth of work to just about 30 minutes. We got the backpack kind and strapped it on an old dolly we happened to have laying around in the garage. The long hose makes it easy to spray a large area while standing in one spot. The mist works so perfectly that it gets into and onto EVERYTHING. And the biggest bonus is that it works so well that you end up using far less product than the hand-pump type sprayers you can get at Home Depot or Harbor Freight. A++ ... show more

Thought I'd wait until I used this at least twice before commenting. First........this sprayer works great. Spray is adjustable from a mist to a stream. You can adjust the pressure so you control it when spraying small areas or up close. I can reach all the way up to the eaves on our 2 story home with no problem or spray right at my feet without making a mess. It is heavy when filled but the wide shoulder pads make it quite comfortable. I am 70+ and I can handle it with no problem. The only criticism I have of the sprayer is the clip that holds the wand in place. There is just one clip up near the top and it is flexible and the wand is swinging and bending all over the place. It may be good for storage but when walking with the sprayer to get to where you want to spray it becomes a bit unruly. No big deal, I just unclip it and hold it in my hand. It does not hold the wand vertically like it shows in the picture. It's a great sprayer. I did a large area in half the time it used to take with a pump handle sprayer and got much better coverage plus it is much more versatile with variable spray tips and adjustable pressure. It's the best sprayer I have owned and well worth the price. ... show more
