This is NOT NASA technology. NASA technology is thermal break insulating r heat rejecting technology. This is NOT thermal break and has ZERO insulation value. Additionally, the pictures demonstrate it being installed on rafters AND floor. This creates a non permeable heat trap. Department of Energy is VERY specific that this should NEVER be installed on the floor of the attic. Also note that this is a BARRIER. WHICH MEANS IT ALSO TRAPS MOISTURE.
