  • Good performance and look amazing
Size: Lumina - 64GB (2x32GB) Color: DDR4-3600 CL-16 (PC4-28800)
The media could not be loaded. UPDATE: I wanted to decrease latency some, so after hours of tweaking and testing. The easiest/best/most stable is shown in the benchmark above with the 4133 score. I also did a 6 gig cpu boost to achieve the 4246 score above. You can see the latency improvements. I ended up with 3400 MT/s CL15-18-18-38. Best performance above achieved at 3500MT/s CL15-18-18-38. Has been stable at the new settings. Original Review: Whether good or bad, I spend way too much time trying to find the best performance for the dollar. I am in the process of upgrading my existing 64Gig DDR4 ram that I got about 3 years ago. They are on 4 sticks and my MOBO can handle 128 gig and so I want that option. Therefore I need to get 32 gig sticks like these instead of the 16 gig sticks I have. My existing ram is pretty good because of the research I did at that point. CL16-18-18-38 For reference you can see the bench mark above which is the 3569 pic. The Jedec or Baseline timings I could not find for these so I included the picture above. 2666-19-19-19-43. The XMP for these are 3600 CL16-19-19-39. The benchmarks for these shown above are 3525 for non-xmp, 3681 for xmp 3731 xmp with 6 Gig Instant CPU burst mode enabled I included the pics so yo can see and compare all the result numbers. even though the overall scores are better, I noticed That I cant get the latency number under 42 which is benchmark killing the overall score. I am not as impressed as I thought I would be going from 2666 CL16 to 3600 CL16. But the numbers are better overall. Typically, I dont care about the lights inside my case, but with my latest build, with led fans and see through case, I have been more open. These look fantastic! I am super impressed with how these look to others I have tried. So much so I had to include a video, but the video does not do justice to how good these look in person. I saw other reviews about the software, but I never installed that, so I cant comment, but My RGB Fusion can control this Ram without issue. So that has been pretty cool to play with. These really do look great and I can even control each of the LEDs on the individual sticks. Tip, after enabling XMP in BiOS, I had to power down the system and restart. These are the best performance for the price 3600 CL16 and as a bonus for me, they have awesome leds These perform well and they also look awesome. ... show more

  • Speed good. Lights bad.
Size: Lumina - 32GB (2x16GB) Color: DDR4-3600 CL-16 (PC4-28800)
Works perfectly and it's fast, but the brightness is quite bad. The white is almost yellow and the software isn't too pretty. It's a good ram but not good for aesthetics, particularly a white build like mine. Had to tweak R110 G121 BMAX for that "white".

  • So far so good. XMP works without a hitch and works at 1.35V instead of 1.4V.
Size: Lumina - 32GB (2x16GB) Color: DDR4-4000 (PC4-32000)
I'll update this review if problems crop up later, but so far the RAM has worked pretty much without a hitch. The XMP profile worked right off once I set it in the BIOS and correctly set the 2x2GHz clock and the correct timings for at least the main four (I guess the rest is mostly automatic.) I'm especially impressed that they managed to get it up to 4000 at these timings without needing to raise the voltage higher -- most RAM in this range uses 1.4V. This makes them run cooler with less power usage but also probably means more overhead for overclocking for those who are so inclined (I have not tested overclocking however. I bought these specifically for a higher "stock" performance.) I'm given to understand these use Hynix chips which are generally thought to be quite good too. The price was also surprisingly good for RAM of this performance and amount from a real brand and not just an unknown generic popup. My only real complaint is the annoying LEDs. I normally wouldn't even buy modules with built-in LEDs, but at this price and performance this was the absolute best bang for the buck by a fairly significant margin (especially since I wanted the lower voltage) so I pretty much had to take what was there, like it or not. By default they do this annoying spectral shifting thing at maximum brightness. I really think the default they start on is something probably the least number of people would actually like out of all the possible options. There is software on their website (with a link almost kind of hidden in the product page under a sort of "tab" next to the product specifications) but it seems that OpenRGB also supports these chips for a slightly leaner and much more universal solution. There are a lot of options available but I'm not very interested in most of those so can't evaluate how people would really feel about them. I normally would turn them off entirely, but I found setting a really dark fixed color is not distracting and looks pretty ok, so I'm sticking with that. Unfortunately the RAM can't save any configuration of the LEDs in any sort of permanent fashion, so when I shut down the settings are gone and I have to use the software to set it again. Until the software runs, they're doing that annoying spectral cycling thing. Each program can be set to run automatically on your OS' startup, but why would I want something relatively bloated just to set a setting that should be a one time thing? It should be able to set a profile on start, then exit at least. Though the less that runs on startup the better all the same (we already have way too much as it is!) I really don't see why something like this couldn't just save the settings for the LEDs. Other than that one relatively small annoyance though this is good RAM and I wouldn't pick anything else at this price range. ... show more

  • Research max DDR4 speed for your CPU
Size: Lumina - 32GB (2x16GB) Color: DDR4-4000 (PC4-32000)
It probably would run at 4000 with the proper CPU, I have it running at 3600 (1800 fabric clock) with my AMD 3600x. I can't get it to run that speed with the rated timings of 18-22-22-42, it instead runs auto timings of 26-25-25-25. My setup is AMD 3600x AMD 6750xt 4x16 DDR4 4000 (@3600)
