Love this coat! Easy on, sturdy loops to hook a leash, looks great. It was a crazy cold winter in Northeast Pennsylvania and our dog came from warmer climates, I am sure he appreciated having this coat to help keep him warm. It also had room to wear his hoodie or sweater underneath.

I've bought several winter coats for my 15 lb dog over the past 5 years. They all fastened under or to the side of the dog with Velcro. It was only a matter of time before the Velcro was clogged with dog fur and no longer stayed closed. I added snaps to the jackets and that worked for awhile. The design of this dog coat makes much more sense. It's easy to put on and it closes on top of the dog with a zipper. It's warmer than the previous coats, and it also looks adorable! Quality material that keeps my short haired Chihuahua warm outside in sub zero temperatures. Super Easy to put on as long as you lay the coat flat on the floor, set their front feet in the holes, lift up and then lock the buckles ends together then put the ends of the zipper together and get it start it about an inch then place one hand in front of the zipper as it closes to keep hair a d skin from getting pulled into the zipper teeth and causing them an injury or pain from hair being pulled and tangled and the other hand at the start of the zipper to hold it firmly so the zipper slides smoothly and safely over their back and pulling the zipper tab gently under the buckle or opening the buckle to continue closing the zipper all the way my up to the back of their head to keep their back and neck warm and dry. There are handy string adjusters in front to adjust how snug the neck area can be closed up to keep their throat and chest warn and dry especially when it is raining or snowing outside. My Chihuahua catches a cold easily if I don't keep his chest and neck warm and dry and he sufferers with a bad cough and it is a terrible illness to have when he suffers from a heart murmur and wreaks havoc with his breathing and health. The coat has reflectors so I know he will be seen at night easier as little as he is, itvis very warm, thermo insulated quality washable material. I highly recommend this coat. The zippervis very durable and made in a size that is easy to zip with a strong durable tab thatbhasnt broken after regular use and cleaning for 12 months. ... show more

The BEST dog jacket (I am on my third one)!!!! Get 1 size bigger (I get M) if you're in-between sizes because the elastic stiching keeps it tight and close to the body for warmth and it will for like a glove. On extreme days I layer it with a fleece that has short sleeves which keeps my 12 lb dauchsund warm. Lasts 2-3 years of everyday use/washing - probably longer but I just get a new one for fluffy stuffing. ... show more
