It's very easy to clean and is 1 solid piece which is why I got this since my Daughter learned how to remove caps and lids. This isn't spill proof with snacks but it's kinda close. The cup is able to be squshed and when it is like if your baby is crawling with it, when they put their weight on it it will collapse and snacks fall out. I LOVE giving my toddlers this product to eat their snacks out of. It is indeed spill-proof, super soft for their hands to move in and out of, and it’s cute! The top does not come off, so I hand wash it and then use the bottle sterilizer to clean it.
