Great bed. Easy to assemble. The squeaking everyone is complaining about is due to the friction between mating surfaces. PRO-TIP: use the protective wrapping material the bed shipped with as a gasket between every mating surface and bolt hole (see picture) and PRESTO! No squeak!

The media could not be loaded. Oh man, I am so so disappointed in this bed frame. I wanted to like it so bad, especially since it's a style I was looking for in my price range (saw one on UO but it was triple the price). After reading all the reviews I thought I had hit the jackpot. Now I'm convinced the 5 star reviews were paid for because I'm pretty sure everyone is lying. First of all this 👏bed 👏makes 👏 noise. It creaks. LOUD. PERIOD. I attached a video of me sitting on it and rolling around for proof. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise. It also slides around way too much on hardwood floors. Second, putting it together was stressful. It wasn't difficult because there aren't that many pieces, but it took a really long time because I had to take the whole thing apart a few times since the screws were not screwing into their holes correctly. One screw kept pushing out the board it was attaching to instead of screwing into it, even though it was in the hole. I had to switch boards and then it finally worked. Also I highly recommend not prematurely tightening the screws until you have the whole bed assembled. The reason I'm not giving it 1 star is because the bed frame IS beautiful. I bet if it was on carpet it would help with the sliding issue. I highly question the durability because it creaks like crazy. As for the creak - sorry but I don't think anything can be done to prevent that. If you're looking to partake in vigorous night time activities in stealth, this is not the bed for you. If you want that boho chic plant mama bedroom look on a budget and don't care about anything else then I guess buy this bed. ... show more

I always appreciate when a company takes the time to add little touches of convenience with the customer in mind. The styrofoam that was protecting each piece was sealed into plastic bags so tiny bits of foam didn't end up all over the place while unpacking. The hardware was packed into one of those cards with plastic sealing in the nuts/bolts which were each labeled with the letter corresponding to the appropriate step in the instructions (which were clear and easy to follow). Each piece was labeled with number that corresponded to the appropriate step as well. The piece looked identical to the pictures. It is sturdy and beautiful. It came 4 days after I placed the order despite being shipped ground. All around I am so impressed and pleased! ... show more

It's always a bit of a pig in a poke buying something like this online. I gotta say that this turned out way better than I'd hoped. First, the quality of the materials was top notch. The wood was well milled and finished. But mostly what impressed me is just how very well designed and machined it was. All the holes matched up, all the parts were included and well labeled. The instructions were clear and simple. Lastly, it sits rock solid on my bedroom carpet. I'll update if anything changes, but I'm guessing this relatively inexpensive frame is going to do nicely. ... show more

*Update: have had this for a year and a half now and still LOVE it. Zero issues and still as sturdy as the day I put it together! Still recommend Only slept on this a week now but I seriously love this frame! Real wood, sturdy, perfect height, color is as pictured, no creaking, and I was able to put together within one episode of The Office.. seriously, easier than even an Ikea frame *sidenote: will say, I have a lot of experience putting together this type of furniture from a past job, so maybe it was easier for me, but it's only 4 legs and 4 frame boards...and my 5 year old "helped"... not exactly difficult like others have said* My only issue is the center support bar.. it looks as if it COULD break at some point because the metal is a little cheap and thin, but it could also be great. Will definitely update if it's an issue. Also, I shopped for a king size frame for my husband and I for over 6 months but they all seemed cheap and temporary. I took a chance on this even though it only had a few reviews and I'm glad I did - esp for the price :) ... show more

    • Beautiful frame, center support needs rethinking

Ordered the king size and it went together very easily (and even faster with the help of my spouse and our 4.5 year old 😉). Love the simple, yet bohemian style of this frame. Only time will tell how sturdy the actual frame is, but it seems of good, sturdy quality. The center support, on the other hand, will need to be replaced already. We’ve only slept on this bed once and sat on it a few time as we are in the process of moving in and the middle post is already bent and sitting crooked. Disappointing to have to replace a significant part already. I will be contacting the company and will update afterward. Will also add pictures once I have better service. ... show more

This bed frame is beautiful and well made. The directions were clear and easy, and the parts were carefully organized. I set it up myself in 30 minutes. It looks as pretty as the photos. The mattress I bought (Zinus Green Tea queen) is about 1/2 inch longer and wider than this platform but it works just fine and looks grand. Do it! ... show more
