Bed is sturdy, and looks nice. Was pretty easy to assemble. Only reason I wouldn't give it a 5 is because 2 of the boards had a thin cracks in them, considering half of it was put together when we saw it wasn't no way to send it back so hoping it is still structurally sound!

Purchased to replace futon that was too small. This cabinet was all that was described on Amazon & then some ! Solidly built and well engineered. It would have been perfect if a tri-fold mattress has been offered with it. One person can assemble it if you take your time. A power screwdriver was especially helpful. I assembled it in three days (total assembly time probably 10 hours) & only needed my wife's assistance during the last steps. Pretty good for an 81 year old. ... show more

Shipment came with a broken panel. After unloading everything from the shipping boxes, it wasn’t worth trying to load them all back in to request for it to be sent back and for a refund, or at least a partial refund to have this part fixed.

We were missing the 8 angle brackets for middle slide out bases, had to run to Home Depot for replacements and drill new starter holes. Also missing the 2 ornamental brackets for the Top Hinge cover panel. Sturdy made, allow a few hours for assembly.
