The quality of the leather in these Doc Martens is consistent, marks don't occur easily and the flexibility is surprisingly well expressed. The size was accurate as it arrived at my home and the comfort level does take time to actually manifest. That's just the nature of leather shoes though and not a discredit for Doc Martens. I also feel like the weight was noticeable but not unmanageable. As to be expected are these boots aren't canvas or made of ultra light materials. You just have to break them in. Long term review- I have taken these on a couple hikes, two hunts, and out to chop wood and they have been great boots. I bought the Dr Marten insole not too long ago and it was a great addition to a great boot. If you don't beat them up like i do they are a good dress boot too ... show more

Worth every cent!!! I have issues with my feet and these right here are the most comfortable boots I’ve ever had! Never had to break them in like other boots was great from the first time I put them on. Now what am I going to do that it’s summer I’m not going to wear them with shorts 😂 For sure will be purchasing another pair of these. They do run a bit big I had to down size ... show more

These boots are fabulous! They fit true to size. I received them in the early morning, so I was able to wear them right away. They are a very sturdy leather boot. Just a fyi.....the insoles are very thin. I replaced them with some Dr. Scholl's inserts. Other than that, they are perfect.
