  • Good Quality, Clear Instructions, Easy Assembly
Style: 12×20 FT
Several neighbors with similar buildings complimented the quality of the framing and of the roof panels. I put the frame together by myself but having two people would definitely make it faster. Parts are clearly labeled and fit together very smoothly. A couple just needed a little tweak with some pliers where the slot edges were very slightly bent from shipping. Be thoughtful of which side you put in the screws. I managed to end up with some on the outside edges, exposed to the weather, and on the bottom, which meant the entire frame was resting on those screw heads instead of the full length of the framing. Plan on an hour and bring a serrated steak knife to remove the packaging. Box cutter was pretty worthless on the straps. The self-drilling screws use a 5/16 hex head. Because the frame is thick, each screw takes a while to drive in. I found that a medium speed worked better than a high speed. I was tending to drive too hard and stripping the threads so I started hand tightening them. My neighbor, who has done a lot more construction than me was able to drive them "just right" when we did the roof panels. The roof panels were well sized and easy to handle. The straightness of the first row is critical since the rest of the rows slot into the first row. Very happy with the results. ... show more

  • Definitely worth the money and easy to assemble with proper tools
Style: 12×20 FT
I would reccomend better way to secure to ground, especially in high winds

  • I found this to be a well made canopy for the price.
Style: 20×20 FT
I liked this item when I saw the middle braces across underneath the frame. I installed this a couple of weeks ago and we just had hurricane Beryl come thru and we got the brunt here in Pasadena, Tx because we were on the dirty side of the storm. It stood just fine, no problems at all. I would recommend this item. Just do as the instructions say and anchor it good. I put mine as close to my garage as I could and used a couple of L braces screwed to the frame and the garage. Solid, no wiggle. ... show more

  • 2 people mandatory, the more the better.
Style: 12×20 FT
I'm sure there are ways to do this by yourself but I wouldn't want to. It took about half a day from start to finish. My wife and two 12 year olds helped. Make sure to pay careful attention to how the ribs are oriented on the first row and be absolutely sure you start straight and centered and you will be fine. It went together well. The only thing I would really recommend you watch out for is following the instructions closely with regards to how each piece overlaps (and again reiterate that your first row must be straight and centered or you are gonna have issues). I did not spend enough time ensuring my slope down hill was uniform and you can see it in the photos. They send quite a few extra screws so don't freak out if you lose some. The option of a carport for most people is essentially: 1. Buy a frame and large 2x12 panels 2. Purchase a model with installation included from an all inclusive website 3. Buy this.... Option 3 was the cheapest and that's why we chose it but just be aware you will need to screw down a ton of panels because they save on shipping as small pieces. This results in lots of seams and lots of room to misalign something but we managed and it looks good. Time will tell if it is leak tight and holds up. I strongly suggest spending an additional $80 on 8x hurricane tie downs and several tubes of 100% silicone caulk. I'm planning to hit all the seams and screw heads with the caulk and tie down each corner with two stakes each. Those ground spikes are not going to be enough if it's in a windy area like we are in. EDIT: Either forget the silicone or find a way to put it on during assembly. There are two issues. Firstly, this stuff is so thin, it is not going to support your weight and I don't care who you are. Secondly, these pieces have a thin plastic film covering them and I am wondering if the silicone is even going to stick to it. I had a massive downpour the other day and didn't have a single leak so I may take my chances and forget the silicone. I'll keep it in the cabinet just in case haha ... show more

  • Good idea but bad design
Style: 12×20 FT
The metal structure is fine but the fall of the water is poorly designed, the water accumulates in the turns and then you see a leaking, we had to use several silicone tubes to seal it. I don't recommend it to anyone unless you only want it to cover the sun, this was a loose off money, how we are going to return a product that we already started to assemble. I’m tired of loose money on Amazon. ... show more

  • It’s ok but…it leaks.
Style: 20×20 FT
Shipped on a pallet, but not very resistant to weather so if you’re going to store it for a bit during site prep, you will want to cover it with a tarp. Also seal the steel roof panels carefully or it will leak

  • paint comes off
Style: 12×20 FT
The building itself is nice, but the panels came bent from the corners from shipping and the paint would come off on most panels when removing the plastic wrap, so to avoid that i now have a carport with plastic peeling all around, but it gets the job done.

  • Well-made and easy to assemble.
Style: 12×20 FT
Frame fits together very precisely and has a durable-looking finish. Finished frame and roof look nicer than a lot of metal carport. I laced 6 foot by 50 foot sun shade fabric for extra protection without upping the wind load too much. I also used 10 inch concrete anchor bolts, each set in 60 pounds of concrete. I was able to assemble this product alone. ... show more
