  • Pressure in cup pushes milk out of the straw
Color: Pink/Orange
I really wanted to like this cup! There’s something weird about the pressure equalization causing the liquid to push up out of the straw sometimes. Not helping us out with mess control... will end up sending it back and looking for a different solution. 2 kids of toddler age, not my first rodeo, pretty sure I put the lid on properly. Too bad ... show more

  • I wish I had known about these a year ago.
Color: Blue/Green
I would have had my son on straws a year ago. He's a few weeks from 2 years old, and because he was a bit behind in speech development, it was recommended we lose the sippy and get him on straw drinking. Problem is, he's been drinking from a bottle and sippy his whole life, and he tips up his drink, just out of habit. So, two months after I've given up possibly dehydrating my son (exaggerating; that was never a danger) by only letting him drink during supervised sessions, and enduring many fits because I wouldn't let him hold the cup, THIS MIRACLE product shows up in my recommendations on Amazon. It's simply a godsend. I don't caaaarrrrre that it takes three different tools to clean. Sponge for cup, bottle brush for lid. Special straw brush (provided) for the straw. (Which, by the by, manufacturer, can you please not bother giving me a bendy straw brush for a bendy straw? Thing is, the straw can get straight. The brush? Cannot. Fixed handle, please.) The straw brush included SUUUCKS but it works. At first, I thought, How Cool, this little bendy brush for a bendy straw...but it's TINY and hard to grip, Especially when you've got soapy hands. Also, because it is flimsy, and the straw is flimsy, things get weird. If you don't put the lid on properly, and I'm talking EXACT pressure here, it will back-fill and ooze liquid from the top of the straw. Doesn't happen all the time, but gets worse as the cup gets older. Other brands have done the same thing, so I'm used to it, and adjust accordingly. I'm not even sure it's the lid's fault. I might be overfilling. Whatever. It drips sometimes from the straw. Not often, maybe once every few days. But, in all seriousness, I am grateful for this. My toddler has already improved in his speech development because he is able to drink as he's used to, while developing the muscles in his mouth. The weighted straw allows him to lay back and drink his juice while he's listening to stories, or sucking down milk at naptime, or just tip the cup up because that's what he's done forever. There isn't just a taaaad bit of milk left in the bottom because it got caught in a pocket, because the straw reaches every bit of the inside of that cup. I love these cups. LOVE. I feel like I am winning at life every time I hand one to my son. Spill that, kid. Hide it somewhere when you're done so that I find it in two days, 'cause there's nothing in it to go sour. Challenge accepted, Mom. He still gets the last laugh, though; I have to wash it. ... show more

  • Great concept but difficult to clean straws
Color: Pink/Orange
Updated review: these cups leak like crazy! They literally have to be used sitting up otherwise the liquid leaks out from the hole where the lid goes over, so disappointed! I really like the concept of this bottle but I find it very difficult to clean the straws. A small brush is included with each cup but the handles of the brushes are very flimsy & its not long enough to clean the entire length of the straws, even if you insert it from both ends. It's also hard to drain the water completely out when you clean the tip of the straw so there's likely residual water being trapped inside the tubing. ... show more

  • Hard to get liquids
Color: Blue/Green
The idea was good but it was really hard for me as adult to get liquid from the straw. Don't get this item not worth it.

  • Hate these
Color: Blue/Green
Thought they’d be good for teaching toddler to drink from straw. Turns out toddlers don’t need much coaching on that one. But these are a bad crutch since they allow the cup to be tipped up. They’re also difficult to clean. But the worst is how hard it is to get the tops on right and then off again. We’ve had tantrums when I’ve had to yoink heavily dripping cups away from my toddler and then couldn’t instantly return the cup to him. I couldn’t even begin to get the lid off. That one I just drained from the drips and threw away. ... show more

  • Better than other straw cups on the market for sure
Color: Blue/Green
My son was hard to get off the bottle I literally tried every single style and brand of transition sippy cups. A friend of mine told me to try the straw and this one was able to be tilted in any direction without obstructing the flow. I introduced it to my son who is 1.5 and he never looked back at the bottle since day one of introducing this to cup to him. Better than other straw cups on the market for sure. Bit of a pain to clean the straw but it comes with a little pipe cleaner I can look past that for the fact that it worked getting him off the bottle. ... show more

Color: Blue/Green
The smaller munchkin weighted straw cup has been my sons favorite for months and since he's 19 months old I was ready to find him a bigger version without the silly handles. FINALLY munchkin created just what I needed. I'm happy and my little man is happy. As soon as we received these I washed them and gave him one :) Now i just need them to sell replacement straws for this size! :D ... show more

  • Not worth it
Color: Blue/Green
These are the worst straw cups I've ever tried! We have Munchkin stare cups without the straw shroud and they're great, so I went with a trusted brand. However, it is almost impossible to turn the lid so it clicks shut. The straw shroud doesn't click shut at all, so the cups end up leaking. To top it all off, it's very hard to clean the straw, given that it is so long, has a check valve, and doesn't disassemble very much. ... show more
