  • Excellent Case! Does NOT fit in Dock (Isn't advertised to).
Color: FrostBlack
Excellent case. Extremely comfortable. Nicely grippy. Excellent protection. I would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a basic case that is comfortable and will protect your OLED Switch. IT DOES NOT FIT IN THE DOCK AND IS NOT ADVERTISED THAT IT WILL It doesn't advertise anywhere that it would, but I wanted to emphasize this in case anyone thinks "maybe"... It won't. The case itself isn't too thick for it, but rather the curvature to create the the grips. The grips start to bump out before it clears the dock so it prevents it from sliding in. They seem to have sacrificed this for the sake of comfort. To me, I don't mind taking the case off to dock/charge, so it's worth it. ... show more

  • fits great, feels great!
Color: FrostBlack
Fits the OLED model perfectly. Also fits in the normal protective case that so many have. Comfortable and efficient to add grip while providing a bit of extra protection and scratch resistance. Easy and quick to take off and put back on.

  • Added 6+ hours to my game time!!!!
Color: FrostBlack
I just got my switch and was not able to play it very long due to my hands getting tired. I was trying to look for a nice quick solution starter case and this is perfect!! I like how it adds bulkiness but not to much just enough to make my hands feel more comfortable, although it can be a finger magnet I just wiped it off like nothing and it really doesn’t affect the use of case at all. I thank this for getting me thru half of the new Pokémon game cause without it I would only be able to play my switch for a short time… I recommend this product for a starter case or if ur looking for something below 15 bucks that’s great quality ... show more

  • More comfortable than the Blade case
Color: FrostBlack
After trying Mumba's other case (Blade) I didn't like the way the large bumps on the grip dug into my hands. I found the smaller/smoother bumbs of the Thunderbolt case to be much more comfortable over long play sessions. Overall it's a basic case that provides a good amount of protection and comfort. The only real downsides are that it's not dockable and the triggers are exposed so they could get damaged/scuffed if it lands the wrong way. It is very easy to attach and detach though so docking isn't a huge issue. One other benefit it provides over the Blade case is that it will still fit in slimmer cases (tested with Power A Slim case), granted it's a snug fit it will still zip up as long as the pocket isnt packed full. ... show more

  • An absolute gamechanger for handheld fans
Color: FrostBlack
I love handheld gaming but the full-size Switches offer a bit of a compromised experienced handheld-wise. I bought one of the OG Switches during the launch year but always suffered hand cramping. I ended up dropping that Switch and breaking it. Next, I picked up a Lite and on the whole I much preferred the Lite to the OG Switch. It was much better in handheld, although the screen with the Lite is a bit cramped. Anyway, I won a Switch OLED and the beauty of the screen was immediate. It was a huge upgrade over the Switch Lite in many ways but had one big drawback: The OLED, like the OG Switch, just isn't that comfortable in handheld. I was even considering selling the OLED and keeping my Lite but decided to give a case a try. I'm not sure why the full size Switches are so uncomfortable, but I'd think that it's because A) the Switch has a flat design which simply isn't ergonomic for a relatively large handheld and B) your hands subtly compensate for the fact that the full size Switch isn't one solid piece. And here we are. This case is a game changer. Even after long play sessions, I have no cramping. The bumps on the back in combination with the sturdy "one piece" feel make the OLED much, much more comfortable to play in handheld. Pros - Fantastic ergonomics - The bumps on the back are worth a shoutout. I was a bit skeptical because they add thickness, but they also improve ergonomics quite a bit as far as I can tell. - Fantastic Price - Generally good looks (I got the smoke black one) Cons - A bit thick and it does add a bit of weight. It's a bit tight of a fight in my carrying case as well. - It's a bit "creaky" at times ... show more

  • Its really sturdy.
Color: FrostBlack
It is made out of a hard but flexible see-through rubber. ive had it on my switch for a while now and it's still holding up strong. I love the added grip, for me it helps keep my switch from sliding out of my hands. I also love how easy it is to take on and off, and I can take my joy cons off without struggling and without having to remove the case. The packaging was very sturdy and nice as well. If you have a switch for your very young child, this might not be strong enough for how rough kids can be, especially since the case comes off with ease. But if your child is old enough to know not to throw the switch, then I would say this is an amazing buy. ... show more

  • From a handheld gamer point of view, good but not the best.
Color: FrostBlack
For its price it's a steal if you're looking for "some" type of protective cover for your entire switch, including the joycons. It's not deal breaker to me but its barely protective, it is a rubber plastic that you slip your switch into and has small grips. The grips are entirely too small, probably would be a better grip for a kid but not an adult. This is not the grip that is going to solve your wrist and thumb from hurting, you still have to hold it awkward when playing a game that involves both analog sticks. I would suggest buying this in the mean time and wait until Satisfye grips are made available. There are grips similar to Satisfye grips and I would recommended checking them out simply by typing Satisfye grips in the search bar here in amazon. 3/5 Cheap present also can come with a case that will fit your entire switch with the grip on, some cables, game cartridges. Will not fix the awkward grip on switch when playing with 2 analog sticks, barely protective, made more for the younger audience as grips barely make a difference. NOT A BAD BUY FOR THE PRICE ITS AT RIGHT NOW. ... show more

  • Makes my Switch so much nicer to hold
Color: FrostBlack
I just got the OLED Switch and this case makes it much easier to hold. It's also somewhat flexible so it's easier to get on and off than some cases I've had for my Switch Lite. I have the dark charcoal color since I thought it wouldn't show discoloration like the clear ones do after awhile and I think it looks nice. Good value so far for the price. ... show more
