YOWU CAT EAR HEADPHONE WIRELESS - CE Overall Review: I love these headphones - they are everything I hopped for and super comfortable. I will attach a pros and cons list below for those who are interested in compatibility. I will note I did receive my headphones in a damaged box and the cord was loose in the box and scuffed and so was some parts of the headphones themselves. This personally was not an issue for me but something worth noting considering the price. CONS: 1. Bluetooth ONLY - there is no audio jack and no USB Bluetooth to plug into, for example, a PC. (this means for Xbox controllers you need a separate Bluetooth adapter) 2. I was unable to connect my headphones to the app - it showed they were connected but the app was just not functioning with me and I did not care to try to troubleshoot further but getting app connected can affect the color modes on the headphones themselves. 3. They are a lot heavier than most headphones - I personally like a lot of weight to my headphones BUT long use can give a headache due to the weight and I sneezed once and due to the large weight the headset nearly flung off my head (but I am a pretty intense sneezer) 4. Arrived scuffed (this may be unique to me - but I did NOT order a used pair) 5. Made of all plastic - no metal at all (probably due to weight) 6. NO carrying case included - the ad itself does not say carrying case but I saw some reviews saying they received one and it was one of the major reasons I purchased them and my disappointment was immense when I didn't get one. PROS: 1. Long battery life - I record content and sometimes I am recording for a hours on end and my headphones have yet to run out of battery on me (I do charge in between though) 2. Mic quality is good with cell phone (I did read on a lot of other reviews that the mic was no good however I did not have this experience - but I have not tried it with an Xbox or other console for mic quality) 3. The ear portion are well padded and comfortable to wear for long periods of time standing up 4. The sound quality is very nice but I still think over ear beats will sound better, if you don't care for the cat ear esthetic then there are more more low profile options that sound just as good. I loved these headphones and intend on using them for a long time but they do have a lot of other more lightweight cat ear head phone options but if you're not worried about price I would recommend these unless you want a gaming mic because they make car ear headphones with mics attached for gaming. The instructions are in a foreign language but you can use the Google translate picture function however even with this I was unable to get the app to work.

I really wanted to love these because they’re adorable, but unfortunately they just didn’t perform well for gaming or streaming. The sound quality and overall performance didn’t meet my expectations, especially for the price. If you’re buying them purely for the aesthetic, they’re definitely cute. But if you’re looking for a reliable gaming headset with good audio and microphone quality, I’d recommend looking at other options. I ended up switching to a different headset that worked much better for me.

I loved the style and comfort of the headphones. The sound quality is great but it is fragile so I get really nervous when it slides back of my head like it’s about to fall, when bend down or lay down on my bed. It does feel a little heavy due to the designed but the change of color lights is awesome. My biggest disappointment on the headphones is it doesn’t connect to my iPod touch and my iPod is up to date. The app just doesn’t want to open or work at all. I still haven’t figured out why? I can re download the app but it just doesn’t opened or connect to my iPod touch.. As for talking on the phone while wearing the headphones the volume is really low and you can barely hear the person calling you or vice versa . Overall, I like the device and the headphones are really cute and adorable. I can used the headphones it on my iPhone to listen to music but I have most of my music on my iPod touch, which is a bit of bummer that I can’t connect the headphones to my iPod touch. I do hope they can fix this glitch so I can connect to my iPod touch. The headphones is new to me so I still have to figure it out the headphones functions.

The audio isn't bad, and they're honestly super cute, even though the lighting doesn't work. That being said, the Bluetooth on these headphones have worked for me once, and never again. I want to be able to walk away for a second and still here my friends, but they ONLY work when physically plugged into the PC. I wanted to like these headphones, but paying this much, just for the Bluetooth/lighting not to work at all is really frustrating. I've done some research and this seems to be an issue with YOWU headphones in general. I know they're cute, but if you don't want to set your money on fire, please find a different pair of headphones to spend your money on so you don't waste your time with customer support like I have.

These are nice headphones with decent sound quality. They even fit a fat head like mine comfortably. Unfortunately I will be returning them as the battery gives about 3 hours of play with the lighting on for only half of that time. This is the most important note though. The FALSE advertisement is blatant. There is no ACTIVE noise cancelation. Their "e-sport level" noise cancelation is only due to their thick foam ear cups. That is PASSIVE noise cancelation. The reason I purchased these and was willing to pay so much is they claimed ANC. This is false. Anyone else planning on active noise cancelation, look elsewhere. You'll only find lies and foam ear cups here.

Absolutely beautiful. Amazing sound quality, I'm an audiophile and I can attest to this. They have a V shape soundscape, with it having a somewhat wider soundstage than a lot of other closed backs, even with physical sound isolation. YOWU products and most gaming headsets in general sound pretty good, this headset is no exception. However, due to it being a special edition and using a unique motherboard, it does not work with the 7.1 3G headset surround driver supplied on YOWU's website. Use the Spacial Sound option if you're on Windows, it accomplishes the same thing, although not as great. The only major problem with them I see is that the ear-pads and headband (while beautiful and stamped with a custom design) are made out of synthetic leather. Synthetic leather will eventually crack and rip, especially on headphones. It'd be a shame to throw away these beatiful headphones because the ear-pads and headband leather wasted away. However, a lot of major headphones feature PU leather, and this would be easily looked over if I could find replacement ear-pads/headbands, as I can with a lot of other headphones. I don't even think the ear-pads and headband COULD be replaced, even if there were replacements. Since its a Limited Edition, I did not find any replacement parts online. I have yet to email the YOWU Store to ask them if they sell replacements, though. It would be nice to have replacement parts readily available online, sold on Amazon (or even the YOWU Store). Again, beautiful headset, wonderful sound (and build) quality, however as someone who likes to repair their own devices, I am a little concerned about the ear-pads and headband leather, especially because of how beautiful the stamped design is. Edit: I've emailed YOWU and they've told me the ear-pads and headband are not replaceable. I've been able to pull off the ear-pads and reapply them(meaning they are replaceable), however the headband requires the headset to be taken apart.

I had a cheap pair of headphones hanging on for dear life, and was wary. What I will say is - user experience varies. There are certain things I cannot accomplish wearing these - cleaning is one of those things. They so slip off of *wigs* especially, still wondering if wearing them outside is something I want to do. They are very comfortable, the microphone works perfectly as well. Bluetooth connectivity was easy to set up, and it never drops. These are massive! I’m six foot tall and they’re still big to me. And they are heavy, but they’re sturdy. The LED lights are easy to use. Switching colors and programming which this feature (ie beat, strobe, etc) is also very easy. Charge time takes a little over an hour. The battery lasts three days if you don’t use the LED function, and about two hours if you do. Music sounds amazing! There is hardly a delay as well, which is a bonus. I would avoid white if you wear black or have recently dyed your hair…transfer was insane! Easy to clean but you can tell something black touched it. I personally don’t care, they’re mine haha. I highly recommend.
