Great button maker supplies (no machine)
This is a review for metal button-making supplies in a quantity of 100. The kit features three components, which are the metal covers, the back covers, and clear films for the glossy topcoat of the buttons. It also has some blank paper and the circular cutter. These button supplies are the size of 58 mm or 2.25 inches. The set comes with its own washer sized for 58 mm buttons. These button supplies work great with my button-maker machine. I think it’s a great value for the price of this kit.

Sturdy Metal Construction Outperforms Plastic Alternatives but the Circle Cutter is Weak
The heavy iron body on this machine makes a significant difference when pressing buttons repeatedly. I previously used a standard plastic craft store model that flexed under pressure and eventually cracked. This metal press handles consistent use without bending or warping. The dedicated 2.25 inch die align accurately every time and the handle provides excellent leverage to crimp the metal edges smoothly. One minor issue is the included circle cutter which feels weak and occasionally tears the paper if the blade catches. You will want a better cutting tool for large batches. I use this versatile press to make promotional badges with different backing styles for my small business and it finishes hundreds of parts quickly. Maintenance is minimal since the smooth metal parts just need a quick wipe with a dry cloth to clear away paper dust. The value is fair given the durability of the main unit and the large supply of blank button parts included in the kit.

Great value for button making!!!
Quick reminder that the actual button making press is NOT included lol, please learn from my impulse purchase! I’ve pictured how the button supplies arrived to me. They are pretty good quality and great value for the price. I ended up buying a press separately and we’ve been making buttons at home for fun. So far the supplies have been so good to us. There’s been no issues at all.

Nice refill kit
These buttons worked well with my button maker they were a compatible fit. my maker came with plastic backed buttons, but I prefer the metal ones because they are more durable. They were easy to use in my machine.

Has everything to make buttons
This is the perfect set for making your own buttons. The only thing you need is the button maker. It comes with everything to make 100 of your own buttons. It even comes with the plastic cover to protect the art work. I really love the quantity for the price. The only thing I would suggest as a new button maker who has no idea what they are doing it should come with some instructions because not everyone knows how to make buttons by themselves.

Durable Buttons for Off Brand and Handheld Presses
I am a big fan of this full metal button kit. The size of the buttons is perfect for my off brand button press. I also have a handheld press, and the buttons fit in there as well. What I really love about these is that they have metal components. I have tried the plastic backed pins, and they are cool, but they don't seem to hold up as well as the metal buttons. The pins on these buttons also float around instead of being glued down. The stationary pins tend to snap easily. This is the type of button I grew up using. This design just works better.
