He loves to shake it because it will start quacking. It's one of the toys that is out all of the time. I bought this thinking it had a squeaker… no, it barks and makes a panting sound and it’s weird! Now you might wonder, why is it rated 5 stars? Well, the reason I rated it so high is because I’m pretty sure in dog language, it barks out “go potty”. Actually I’m convinced it said that. I was surprised by the large hard plastic box in the middle of the cows stomach. I realize it talks, but I would have expected the technology used to be a little more dog friendly, or smaller at least. It's cute, but I would have bought something else if I had known.
