    • had to buy a seperate wiring harness that was over $100 to make it work!!!!

had to first off buy the wiring adapter harness -$7 on ebay , then the faceplate adapter $25 on ebay, then bring it to the shop and pay $150 for a deck install..... _ #1 first off , the wiring that comes with it has no power source so they give u a red wire and expect you to plug it into a fuze to supply the power to the deck!, never seen that in my life , #2 the stereo is all hooked up and it turns on but no sound...... after a hour later of diagnosing, we find that the wiring harness is the wrong one for the car - it doesnt have the inverter and power supply like all others do, so i have to buy a wiring harness with inverter from the shop -$130 later i have one and the deck is in and wrking, but no remote came with mine , and without it u cant do anything but listen to radio....... so im now spent $250 to get it installed and working the way it should, on top of the $50 i paid for this, so im $300 invested and no remote to operate it, so i have just radio untill they hopefully send me a remote for the dang thing..... and i know its not touchscreen, but it has symbols that look like u press them like a touchscreen but they do nothing.... then lastly #3 - the backup camera is useless ... completely useless, my rear view mirror is bigger and does a better job .... so thats a waist to wire and set up fyi..... if i had to statr over, i would deff not buy this deck.... im hoping customer service gets me a remote so i dont have to rip it out and throw it away , or refund if its within the retun window...... fair warning to u all ... ... show more

So, I finally got my old car running so I installed this and it kinda sucks! The back up camera looks great BUT(!) it mutes the audio? Why? The bluetooth works fine BUT(!) the nice little screen just shows a bluetooth symbol, not the title, artist, track, etc! You have to look at your phone for that. There is no external microphone for the telephone, just a silly little mic ON the radio face? Nowhere close to MY face! In a convertible this is just useless!! Anyway, I’m pissed that I took this long to install it as the return window is gone. I’m putting my other radio back in and adding a separate back up camera. This was a waste of money. After a long struggle to match my vehicles wires and connect to the wiring harness, I plugged it in and the pins did not match at all. Very loose and floating around in the harness. After trying to make them match with some imaginative engineering, which did not work, I threw it in the trash. Very disappointing. ... show more
