Wow! This desk lamp is much better than I anticipated! It folds down very flat but it opens up and looks great on a desk. Very modern looking. There are very few controls, but they change the hue and intensity of the light making it perfect for a variety of conditions. And, on top of that, the best feature is that you can put your iphone on the pad and it immediately starts to charge it. I have a case on my phone and it does not need to be removed in order to use this charging pad. The pad makes an already great desk lamp even greater! It really sets it apart from other lamps that are similar in appearance. The entire unit itself is very light making it a breeze to move and/or reposition. I like this lamp even more than I thought I would. Just as a point of reference, I paid almost as much for a charging pad for my iphone and that didn't have the added benefit of the desk lamp! If you have a phone that has the ability to charge on a pad and are in need of a desk lamp, this should most definitely be something that you consider. Although we used our adapter as required (provided with the lamp), the Qi charger did not work. In this case, both Amazon and AFROG, the seller, were very responsive and we got our replacement lamp. This one works as it should. Having said that, it's a very nice lamp -- several color adjustments, along with brightness adjustments make this perfect for the bedside. The Qi charger works well on Samsung and iPhone units. It's not a super-fast charger, but it does the job. I have be struggling to finding a light like this that doesn’t have that annoying quiet buzzing, but I finally found it! You get 5 different lighting modes which is great for me because I have bad migraines and I need a soft light most of the time. You also get a wide range of dimming with easy touch controls. And you can also slide your finger around it to increase brightness or lower. Also a bonus of adjusting the light position. This product, while perfect in theory, is a danger to any household or family using the product. As you can see on many other reviews (which I did not notice before purchasing), this lamp is a fire hazard. Ours melted and burned out overnight, thank god it did not catch aflame as others have. This was after 3 days of use, with no overloading or abuse. Amazon should be ashamed to sell such a dangerous and defective product. Lawsuit waiting to happen. ... show more

I bought 2, one each for two of my grandkids. I had built them each a desk and wanted a desk lamp that didn’t take a lot of room. The lamp puts out plenty of light for them to do homework. This lamp has worked only intermittently since I bought it. I just went into my account today to finally decide to return it, since it has not officially stopped turning on at all. Alas, my return window just closed on January 31st. So I can't get my money back on a product that initially looked super cool, and did all the things I needed it to do - but that quickly stopped doing some very important things, like turning on and staying on. The blue wireless charging light started turning on and staying on within a few days of receiving the lamp. That didn't bother me much because I don't use the wireless charging function. But within a few weeks, the lamp started randomly turning off (as in, no light at all). But it would then turn back on after I gave it a rest for a bit. I should have returned it right then. But I've waited too long, and now it won't turn on at all and is basically garbage. Don't waste your money. ... show more

The warmest setting on this LED desk lamp is very natural and good for warm light it a dark environment. You can turn up the color to daylight / blue if you prefer, and the touch pad provides intuitive access to dim, color hue, power and timer. It will also charge your wireless charging devices (save room on your desk) and can run on a simple USB plug or use the USB adapter and plug into a standard wall socket.
