so it worked alright. some of the open ended slots were a little too big and fit loose. so if your fitting are REALLY tight, this would probably strip them and spin. made from steel, so at least it's not flimsy aluminum.

I am a do-it-yourself-er. I don't know how many faucets I have installed in my lifetime, but enough to know how cramped the work space is under the cabinet and behind the sink. For all these years, I have just made do with whatever tools I had available and always managed to get the job done. Recently the faucet on my wife's side of the bathroom dual sink vanity broke and I put that job on my punch list. Then I saw this tool on Amazon and figured, "Why not?". It looked a little gimmicky in the picture and I wondered if it would be a bit flimsy for the job. However, I was pleasantly surprised. One end has multiple sizes to fit a variety of supply lines and the other end is for the nylon backing nut that holds the faucet in place. The tool worked great for both applications. In fact, I was thinking I would need something like a screwdriver for a lever to help turn the tool and loosen the supply line, but I was able to remove both supply lines using only my hands to turn the tool. This tool made the job so easy, I am kicking my myself for not buying the right tool years ago. I may not need this again for a few years, but it will be in my plumbing supply drawer when I need it. ... show more

The two ends of this basin wrench are poorly finished and apparently painted without cleaning or filing the metal materials beforehand. The sizes of the wrench do not fit US plumbing parts which are measured in inches, not metric sizes. I am surprised and disappointed that the manufacturer would ship a tool in such poor condition. The product description shows two tools (only one was received). The product description photographs are of a well-finished tool. See my photographs of the tool showing various finishing errors, lack of proper metal preparation, and painting over weld-splash. The tool is entirely unsatisfactory, and I cannot recommend it. ... show more

Great tool, we were just getting ready to do some home improvements changing out faucets when this came up so we grabbed it. It is a very nice and sturdy. It makes it easier to reach into the small areas which is really helpful it just takes a little to get used to using but it is just because i have never used tools like this. Mine works good, just make sure you are ordering the correct wrench for the nut sizes you use. THere are variances. My wrench was well welded, but actual wrench part was unexpectedly thin. And there was welding splash on the columns, making some sharp points I had to file off to avoid scratching my hands. ... show more
