This is a review for the TESSAN electrical outlet extender with 4 AC outlets and 4 USB ports (3 x USB-A, 1 x USB-C) The price was $16.99 when I ordered it. This is a decent outlet extender that works as advertised. It has a fairly thin form factor to keep plugs closer to the wall, but I wish the outlets were on the sides and bottom rather than the front. Plugging cords into the front of an already protruding outlet extender can really push cords quite far away from the wall. Putting the outlets on the bottom or sides would avoid that problem. I like having the sides angled a bit, which makes it easier to see the outlet receptacle when plugging stuff in. I also like having the USB outlets on top so you can easily plug in chargers, although it would be even more handy if the USB outlets were placed out further toward the corners/away from the center so you could use this on the bottom half of a wall outlet and still make use of the outlet above it. Instead, you’re stuck using this on the top half of the outlet and some devices (e.g., smart plugs) won’t fit into the outlet below it. The price is about average to a bit higher than comparable outlet extenders I have ordered on Amazon.

I like the idea of this plug. It has four grounded outlets as well as USB ports. Originally I thought that having four different sides on which to plug things in would be very efficient, however upon actually using it, the angles involved make larger plugs a bit cumbersome. If you get the right size plugs in the correct orientation, this would work better. The unit is lightweight, but the plastic feels a little flimsier than I prefer for heavy duty uses. I had hoped that the inclusion of multiple USB ports would eliminate the need for some of my other charger boxes and I was willing to sacrifice fast charging for this. Unfortunately, only ONE of the USB ports actually functioned on this unit, putting me back to needing to plug these items in separately. Ultimately, the size of this plug and the logistical issues with it will not be the last plug I purchase.
