Works for multiple textures of hair. It provides good holding power. It has a nice scent and the packaging is lightweight and easy. My only con is the price.

My sons and my husband all use Muk styling products! The Filthy Muk offers firm hold with a matte finish. My husband and one son love it! It really keeps hair in place all day. My other son uses the Slick Muk pomade because he likes the glossier look to his hair. Both types hold hair well. It's really just personal preference. Very strong. It holds up styled hair for hours. It has an apple-y smell too. The package was a bit dented upon delivery but didn’t affect the product. I was still able to open it. Product is sealed so it was protected.

My barber put me on this when I asked for advice on getting a new hair product. My hair is wavy when it gets longer and this stuff does a great job at adding volume, and texture with a clean matte finish. This stuff smells great as well! I will definitely be purchasing this again. When you use it, put a small amount in your hands, and really warm it up by rubbing both hands together - then apply and style. I'm not sure how this compares to their other products, but the purple is usually more expensive then the red, yellow, green and orange ones- so it could be because of quality!? This product is great. It replaced a hair care product I can no longer buy and exceeded my expectations. It has a firm hold throughout the day, even in hot weather and a little goes a long way. Will definitely be buying this product again.
